I like the idea of the more fitted elite shirt.
But £60 for the regular ones is fucking robbery. £90 for a plastic t-shirt you only wear on Match days to avoid looking chavvy any other time- fuck that.

Think it's more embarsssing for a grown man to wear it at a football match ;).

a bit OT
hughton on coys:
For those interested Man City are moving to Puma and Arsenal to Adidas.

Think both deals are about 18 months away but some will recall I’d spoken about us moving to Nike around 18 months prior to it happening.

Some info on our 3rd kit.

We've updated our post on the Tottenham 18-19 third kit. Much more logically considering the home and away uniform colors, the new Spurs third jersey is now expected to be predominantly teal. It is slated for release in September and will complete the club's set for the upcoming season.

The Tottenham Hotspur 2018-19 third jersey is widely expected to be predominantly turquoise / teal, with navy trim and light gray Nike brandings.

While the home and away kits will be released earlier this year, due to the fact that there's no obligations to an outgoing supplier as it was with Under Armour last summer, the third kit is widely expected to be released at around the same time as this season's, i.e. in September.

Stay tuned for more details on the design of the Tottenham 2018-19 third kit.

I'm not a massive fan of teal, but I like the idea of it with navy and grey.

What’s wrong with a navy away kit and a yellow 3rd? Colours you associate with Tottenham.

Purple was never a thing until the mid 90’s and now we’ve had 7 purple away kits since then. Now teal which was never our colour until 2006-2007.

At least the brown and gold had links to our history and before anyone says it, I know we played in red in the early 1900’s, but that’s just not an option.

On the flip side, I think adidas will improve Arsenal's kit ten fold, unfortunately.
I cant believe Adidas are sponsoring those lot, always thought they were quite classy in their designs. I’m happy with Nike but Adidas doing Arse pisses me off for some reason.

Goons should play in socks, pants and plimsoles. And that includes wintertime.

Yes, but with a big caveat. Yellow was a default 3rd kit - or 2nd kit - for a lot of clubs over the years simply because it was the colour that clashed least with reds, blues and whites, and with various stripes and hoops. It was basically a default colour many clubs used.

So to say it's a traditionally Spurs colour is right in that we've used it over the years, but it's wrong to say it's a uniquely Spurs colour or has any special attachment to the club. It's really more of a generic default away colour.

Personally, I feel precisely zero attachment to any colour other than White/Navy.

Isn’t teal similar to the light blue away kits of the early 80s?
