They applied the cockerel to all the training wear, so it wasn’t that they couldn’t. The shield was a conscious design decision.

Plus the deal with Nike was done waaaay before it was announced.
Sure, I didn't mean to say my example was correct, just that more broadly sometimes there are logistical decisions that are made and then covered up by some dubious/tenuous sounding marketing garb that sounds better than 'we couldn't do it how we'd have liked this time around, so we bodged it a bit and it will be better next time'. An excellent example is the Spurs badge applied to our very first Puma shirt, it was a patch with a weird embroidered effect under it rather than a true embroidered badge and it started to peel off after a couple of washes. On that particular occasion the issue was how late we agreed the deal with Puma and the rush to get shirts made. They made it a 'feature' in the marketing bollocks.

Like I say, I'm not suggesting that's true on this occasion, but it certainly could be, for whatever reason.

That link takes me to facebook and asks "are you sure you want to leave facebook"

Dafuq dude?
It's because the actual link is a facebook external link (i.e. it was stolen from a facebook page, not an address bar) so it has been designed to think you're clicking on it from with FB. If you are on a PC, hover over it and see how the actual link (bottom left) differs from what's on screen. Nothing dubious though, so don't worry!

This design has probably been finished what 4 months ago? Why do we wait so long to announce this stuff? We didn't even announce the kits last year with our first signing so I just don't really get why we wait. Our PR staff is weird.

I really want to see how these will look on the players. Can someone print a massive copy of one of these, cut around it and wear it please, take a pic and post it up would you. Thanks.

These look genuine to me. Little features missing on the knock offs like the patch cockerel logo, the lack of dodgy premier league sleeve transfers and the labelling inside the collar all look accurate. (The home shirt has co-ords of the new stadium, which that shirt appears to have, a knock off merchant simply wouldn't have known to do that, they'd have put a copy of the Nike care instructions there). Everything about these two shirts adds up.
I don't know anything about the third but going by last year it will likely have a different template (i.e. not the same sleeve effect like last season's was a camo style and will be released along with all the other Nike clubs in September) so it makes sense that we only see the home and away in a shop at the moment.

They're not genuine. Look at the way the fabric hangs on the white shirt. They're counterfeit. Why would our official kit be launched in Asia with no announcement about it anywhere?
