Tried to get the M elite away shirt today, but everywhere in London is completely sold out. I asked the girl in Nike town oxford street which kits have been selling more, the chavs or us and she said it's been pretty close to call.

Got the stadium home today. It feels like better quality than the under armour from last season.

Sorry but i've got a bee in my arse and it's not just Nike, the prices for kits young kids is not on really, especially when you have more than one of the little fuckers.
They really are pricing youngsters out of football it seems (i know it's been heading this way for a while)

Maybe i'm getting old and grumpy but i'm amazed they can't put a cap on how often football teams can change the home kit for example and just let teams change away and 3rd kits yearly.

Otherwise clubs should be maid to put 100 percent of any profits from youth/toddler kits into grass roots football (maybe they do but i've not heard of it)

Apologies for whinging but i'm lighter in the pocket than i was this morning and now i found beer!

Tried the Nike store in Bluewater & the Nike store in Ashford outlet but neither have the kit

Want to see & feel both home and away first before deciding if I want one.

Completely agree, however there cant be a cap on kits etc because that would require teams to keep the same brand and sponsor for that timeframe. Some change their kit supplier or sponsor on a practically yearly basis. Its an absolute con though and just like anything else football related, relies on emotional blackmail. sadly however, this isn't going to change any time soon.

its amazing the difference from being say, 15 and having the labels etc was a must and costing your parents a fortune, to being 29 with a baby and moaning about clothes prices, saying thing like "its just a cheap nike shirt but add a spurs badge and its 4 times the price!"

Really think people need to stop buying them.

Buy a retro one or some training gear, they're usually much nicer, cheaper, they're more 'knowing fan' than a kit, there's more options, they last longer etc. There's never been more ways to show you're a fan.

Know it's hard with kids but maybe start educating them that only plastics wear kits?!

I'm tempted to get the away shirt with Corbyn and number 10 on the back.

Would that look cool?

??? A £70 replica football shirt to commemorate Corbyn, especially a Spurs shirt ???

Do you understand politics? The difference between capitalism and socialism? Under Corbyn it'll be plain red t-shirts for everyone.

Very happy with the kit. Always hate when they try too much with something that should be a white Shirt, blue shorts, and white socks.
Also, £60 Shirt isn't as horrendous as some are making out. Didn't need the grey dots on the sleeves to make it look like the expensive shirt though

I want to get my son one of the kits.

I'm gonna get it printed with 'Son' and number 7, kinda works as I was always number 7 when playing.
