??? A £70 replica football shirt to commemorate Corbyn, especially a Spurs shirt ???

Do you understand politics? The difference between capitalism and socialism? Under Corbyn it'll be plain red t-shirts for everyone.

Under Corbyn; my generation might be able to afford a home of their own.

Because Corbyn promised it and a load of people retweeted it? He promised a lot of people a lot of things. I'm not going to waste my time trying to explain how and why he couldn't deliver a tiny fraction of it ......

But do you at least understand the irony of putting his name on a £60-70 Spurs shirt?

He's taking the piss, you're making yourself look ridiculously muggy by biting so hard.

Sorry but i've got a bee in my arse and it's not just Nike, the prices for kits young kids is not on really, especially when you have more than one of the little fuckers.
They really are pricing youngsters out of football it seems (i know it's been heading this way for a while)

Maybe i'm getting old and grumpy but i'm amazed they can't put a cap on how often football teams can change the home kit for example and just let teams change away and 3rd kits yearly.

Otherwise clubs should be maid to put 100 percent of any profits from youth/toddler kits into grass roots football (maybe they do but i've not heard of it)

Apologies for whinging but i'm lighter in the pocket than i was this morning and now i found beer!

:bag:

I didn't own an official full kit till my 12th birthday (1994 Purple kit with blue stripes). My mum and dad couldn't afford them, so I used to get those cheap ones from the market that used to come in a box and you had to sew on the badge yourself :ROFLMAO:

So whilst I totally agree with you that they are getting ridiculously expensive, I don't believe it's a new phenomenon. I just think parents feel more under pressure to please their kids. Mine did what they needed to get by, and I didn't have any brand name stuff or any of the latest toys... But I didn't realise till I grew up and looked back on my life how hard they had it bringing me and my sister up.
Now they're in a much better situation and even took early retirement comfortably. But I understand the pressure. My boy plays round his friends then tells me how many toys they have, etc. But we simply can't afford them for him. I'll probably get him a knock off kit as I have in the past. He knows no difference and the knock offs are far better now than they were in the 90s lol

I never had a shirt when I was a kid, we couldn't afford one. Had a scarf and flap cap hat me dad bought at games.
Never moaned though, just got in with it.
My youngest has the shirts but does it really matter?

We shouldn't let kids pressure us, or atleast not buckle to their demands. My teenage step daughter is very brand focused and I've tried many a time to explain to her that she's literally paying for the name, not always the quality. Some of it has gotten through but not completely. But then that age they're under pressure at school and with their peers... Saying that, so was I, so no real excuse really lol

My missus got me the new home top as she does every year . Really not impressed with quality and fit. It annoys me more the fact she's payed £60 for it!

Wow is it really not that good? I've obviously heard this a lot but heard people saying it's better than the UA fit. I didn't buy last seasons UA but bought the purple one the year before and the fit was very nice. Is it worse than that?

And what's bad about the fit, does it just hang off the body a bit?

I prefer mine slim fit personally. Arms feel baggy. Basically it just doesn't feel like a £60 shirt...

I always wear that purple one to the gym. Such a nice top.

In China I never once saw a UA kit from all their years.
Saw a NIKE last weekend for over 85 quid!
There were only one price range for us, City and Chelscum.
Not sure which quality level they were
I can't afford to pay that for one shirt!
I'LL be online getting last years training stuff as they looked great and I already have one that's nearly worn out

Yeah as do I. Damn that's not good, looks like I'll be getting the elite if any at all now.

My guess would be that people saying the fit is better than the UA stuff prefer a looser fit for one reason or another. For me, the UA stuff fit perfectly although some of the shirts were bizarrely long.

elite really is a work of art

Ah yeah true, I should have acknowledged that what constitutes as a 'good fit' can vary from person to person.

Just got a couple of polos in the Harlow store. Found out the spurs shops coming back to Chelmsford in September!

Has that 3rd shirt pic been confirmed as genuine ? Always like our purple shirts and are mostly the only ones I buy, but that looks more black to me ? Not in keeping with the png pic of the purple camouflage design

I like the look of the training tops the players were wearing in yesterday's photos (two-tone sky blue with sleeve stripe) but can't find these online.

My next bombshell will drop at circa 1500 hours tomorrow. Stay tuned!
