I know the Nike store in Chicago got a ton of them so I'd assume the NY one would have them.

The distribution in the US seems to be miles above the UA kit.

Regarding the actual pics of it in game: that white seems very white. Love it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it next week, can't fookin wait!!

Weirdly, it looks like the youngsters were wearing the stadium shirts and not the elite versions. Bit strange but you can see the fit is far more standard. The elite shirt is a much nicer, closer fit and will be what the first team will be wearing.

As much as I'm loathe to spend that kinda money, if i try on the elite shirt and love it then I might buy it. We'll see though, not sure I can justify that kinda outlay on any t-shirt, let alone a football shirt.

This is the major problem though - we got good athletic fit, nice material and quality manufacture from Under Armour as standard, not at a premium price! Plus unique, thoughtful designs.

Nike/the club can fuck right off as far as these shirts are concerned.

It is what it is dude, Nike are the biggest brand on the planet. It's a good deal for the club and will bring in more money than UA kits ever did. Not saying I agree with their pricing structure but I only bought one UA kit over their time and the shirt was fairly standard fit IMO. I rolled the sleeves up one fold to make them shorter as I hate the long, boxey sleeves on a standard fit football shirt.

Anyway, I know what you're saying and I would suggest looking at the training/leisure wear. Nike excel in that area and it's much more affordable. I got the £55 training top for my birthday and it's genuinely one of the nicest tops i've ever worn. Great fit, lovely material, super comfortable. I actually had women in my office, who know nothing about football, commenting on how much they liked it.

You all know that Under Armour did exactly the same right? It just wasn't as widely available. The replica shirt, was poor fitting, and there was a player edition too, different material, different fit etc. It's just that Nike advertise them more widely.

These elite/vapor/aeroswift shirts at £90 arent even what the players will be wearing.

I bought one thinking it would be a player issue shirt but there are still wash labels on the inside of the shirt. Player issue shirts dont have wash labels - the washing instructions are printed on the inside of player issue shirts as seen in last seasons Man City player issue shirts: https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/2016-17-manchester-city-player-issue-home-shirt-bnib-l.html

So I was abit disappointed with that and im sending it back and hope that the website above get the proper player issue shirts in at some stage over the coming season.

Maybe I got lucky but the ones I have are really nice fitting (if bizarrely long in some cases), and I'm not unusually proportioned (average height/chest/waist). I have the navy "chevron" away, black/grey halves third, black "tyre tracks" third, pink GK and purple third, so quite a selection.

I didn't know that it was possible to buy the Under Armour player issue shirts, but I remember Puma did replica and player issue. As @snake says above though, Nike have introduced a third tier of shirt and all the things people are saying about the Elite are the things that I thought about the Under Armour kits, just at £35-£40 more!

This is all a matter of opinion anyway, so we'll never all agree.

So sizing wise...last shirt I got was the Puma ones in medium, which was a good fit. So if I get the Elite I should get medium, but if I got the stadium small? How much baggier is the stadium?

Very very interesting post

Last seasons under armour player issue shirts had tags or were the £80 player issue ones not the actual shirts worn matchfay by the first team?

Stinks if this seasons elite £90 shirts are advertised as the shirts the players wear but actually are not....

Unique and thoughtful is one way of putting it I guess.

I think the training wear looks fabulous.
Agreed, but this is a monstrosity of the highest order.

Nike website now calling the £90 Spurs shirts the "vapour" (website says the shirts the insured wear)

No £90 shirts on the Spurs club shop website anymore, they were called the elite....

Contacted Nike to be told the shirts with the heat pressed data not sew in tags the players wear not available

I've noticed that, if you google it, you can find the links to the shirt's old pages, but they now redirect to the list of available shirts. I wonder what has gone on there...

It's very interesting/baffling to read about the £90 shirt uproar.

This type of shirt has always been available, I mean since the days of Puma possibly? Definitely Under Armour.

The idea of a replica is a replica, which is the shirts people have always purchased. Over the last however many seasons
with Under Armour, the authentic shirts have been available. The £55 replica is the one 99.9% of people purchased, little
interest in the authentic.

Then this season the Vapor-Elite are an option and everyone has been up in arms about the so called fake £60 shirt / cheaper cheap rubbish option.

But all that shirt is, is the replica. Which 99.9% of people buy. The latest replica being £60 and not £55 like the Under Armour shirts has been a sore issue, but then the Vapor-Elite is there and £90 is fine. Under Armour/Puma/Kappa/Adidas/Pony/Umbro/Hummel etc replica's were what people got and wanted. But this season it's different. Can't figure out why.

The Vapor-elite IS the same as the player shirts, but from point of view, a player version can't be sold because like has been said it doesn't have labels etc. The reason is, players don't need those in the shirts. People buying it have to have it in there, it's illegal to sell it that way.

most people want the stadium shirt to wear.

some want the "player issue" shirt and are willing to pay 90 quid, the under armour was 80 quid if you could get hold of them (couldnt find current years shirt anywhere unless you bought it from the club shop with kane !) for 120 quid...

some people collect shirts and would like to buy the actual shirts the players wear without the tags that i think are 150 quid.

at least thats how i see it.

the problem for me lies with the club website saying the elite/vapour is THE shirt the players actually wear when in fact it is not.

I wore my new stadium home shirt out and about yesterday.
It's a medium, I'm a about 5ft 9, broad chest and shoulders, little bit of lower belly flab. It fits me fine.
In fact, I may even be able to get into a size small.

Perhaps those complaining of it being too loose should drop a size. I wear size small Ralph Polo shirts but need a large for most other brands.
I have footwear I all different sizes. It's just how things are.
