Was just going to say the same. City and Chelsea's announced in the last week. Will ours be announced before Sunday and worn then?

Yeah I would think it would be announced or at least a date set for it revealed but it would be cool to see us wear it on Sunday. City did so against Brighton so there's definitely a chance we might too.

I wonder if we will wear it Sunday then. Certainly possible if they’ve all been sorted.

We typically put silly countdown clocks on the website to build anticipation.
This has not occurred yet, which means we're still some time away from seeing anything official.
I like the PSG and Chelsea ones. Hopefully ours will be the same and the rumours of the blue faded bottom will be banished.

Maybe so but I'm guessing Nike have influence over when these kits are released too, how much is down to the club or manufacturer I have no idea. I know they do when it comes to the third kits that's for sure. City released there's rather suddenly I think and wore it that same night and Chelsea just announced theirs yesterday to be revealed today and they're confirmed to be wearing it on Sunday.

I guess there are still other teams to reveal theirs so maybe ours will be in the later portion of the batch but with the other Nike home shirts seemingly now rolling out I'd be surprised if ours was some way away.

PSG have now also released theirs:

Would have thought it would be sensible to launch it prior to the summer, but that hasn’t stopped us in the past I guess!

ours are always last, remember when we used to wear the new kit in the last home game
Think the last time we did that was at the end of the 14/15 season, when we wore the 15/16 home Kit. Hull at home, the 'Danny Rose Red Hair Game' if you will...

I can only remember us once wearing a new kit on the last game of the season, it was that first awesome adidas one. Think Ginola scored in the game.

Cant see us wearing it at Wembley, might save it for the new stadium. Although not sure how that would work not releasing it until October :(

Scrap that thought

We can't let the chicken out yet.

As for release, the home and away (home each day) kit were available to buy by July last year.

Remember it well, against Chelsea, mugged one of their players and left Desailly on his arse in the box. Great goal.

I also remember us wearing the 125 kit on the last day of the 06/07 season against Man City.

The home kit is the kit which is going to see us in to a new era potentially. I don't understand why we wouldn't be insisting Nike make it as traditional as possible.

My major concern with the leaked home shirt is that it would look ridiculous with white shorts, so that particular tradition will fall by the wayside in what will be a rather momentous season.
