Yep and neither is grey ?
Down to how the cameras and filters used, the official video is purposely filtered and makes it look washed out. I would say though the shorts should've been just navy with the pattern on the side, looks odd being the colour of the arms.

Now I am not really fussed either way but that looks horrific, socks are a different colour than the sleeves. Probably the lighting as the pics look rather tidy.

Yeah possibly the lighting is having an odd effect. No big deal really. Looks a bad fit though. Like Dele forgot his PE kit and had to wear some of the spares from lost property.

LOL at people using a grainy still from a video with a bunch of effects around it to judge the away kit.

Youre better off using this shoot, where it looks quite lovely imo.

I like the away kit, but the home kit is probably one of the ugliest I have seen in a long time. Ill be getting the away t-shirt this season I think.

Interesting that the official description on the site notes the coordinates of ‘white hart lane’. They don’t say old stadium, or the road or the new stadium. Perhaps we may get our wish that the new stadium will be called White Hart Lane?

Because WHL is the name of our old ground and the new stadium will go by a different name, there is no need to use the term ‘old’ when referring to it.

Its gonna be fun though seeing fat men in the home shirt. It will highlight the roundness of the stomach.

Goodness me, if it's not people whinging in the ITK thread about the lack of signings then it's people in here crying about the kits. It's incredibly negative on SC right now and considering our recent league finishes, new stadium etc you'd think we'd be a happier bunch.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy the kits. There are MANY other options available, both Nike branded and non-branded. The club have just released a range of simple, classy, minimal tops that you can buy for a reasonable price (https://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/category/spurs-mens-essential-collection?id=MensMenuA). The nike training wear is also great, as I've said before, I bought the half zip training top last summer and it's one of the nicest, best fitting and high quality tops I've ever worn. I love it.

It's absolutely fine to not like the kits enough to buy them, I like all 3 but I won't be buying them, but all this "someone needs sacking" talk is just embarrassing. You can never please everyone, it's pretty much impossible. As the season progresses we'll get used to the kits and it won't be an issue at all.

Look, it's not like our players will be running around with pictures of cocks all over their shirts is it? We need to chill out. I know there are a group of fans that want to basically see the same plain white kit every season but honestly, the club will never do that. It has to push the envelope now and again and try to do something a bit different and I think they've done that this season after quite simple, minimal kits last season.

As I say, if you don't like em then don't buy em.

Agreed. Looks awesome in the shoot pics. I definitely jumped the gun with what I saw in the vid.

I think if you see a picture whereby 2 different players are wearing the "same" kit that looks different, you're likely seeing them in a stadium and an elite shirt.

Note to all - the club shop is really struggling to load pages and stay stable at the moment. Much more so within the away kit section.

Fun fact, the old stadium was never officially named, White Hart Lane was used unofficially and it stuck. Therefore there's no old or new, it'll always just be White Hart Lane.

You think the geordies actually say "Sports Direct Arena"?

To be fair - a lot of fans who buy into it, (not me) were promised a lot of big signings, positive net spending, matching the big clubs in the market and so far, we have signed fuck all.
The kit launch has dragged almost 2 months and the final product is pretty jank.
I think every one deep down is a little concerned that the stadium looks very naked on the outside at the moment.

Add all of this together and you have a perfect recipe for disappointment.

As for the new kits... I'm too old to be buying replica shirts anyway, and especially at those prices, but either way... naaah.

From the home kit blurb

"DESIGN:

- Print is inspired by the much anticipated 2018 Tottenham Hotspur homecoming – depicted graphically through the massive, undulating energy created by the birth of a star"

Ah, I get it now
