Yeah possibly the lighting is having an odd effect. No big deal really. Looks a bad fit though. Like Dele forgot his PE kit and had to wear some of the spares from lost property.

:ROFLMAO: i was trying to put my finger on it but you have nailed it mate.

I actually like the away kit. Home kit is horrible though, how hard is to not fuck up a plain white shirt ffs.

I only buy the kits if we reach a Cup Final so doesn't affect me buying them or not but the home shirt is going to look so shit on European nights, fuck tradition hey Nike!

The shirt pictures on Nike's site are far better and really show the difference between 'Match' and 'Stadium' shirts much more clearly.

I appreciate that some do want this but personally I don't want the same, boring, plain white shirt every season

Last season's shirt was simple, largely plain white with a few navy accents so clearly this season they thought they'd go for something a little bit different.

I think if you're gonna pay £65 - £90 for a kit each season then you'd want it to at least be a little bit different to the one you bought the previous season, would you not?

Different. Yes
Ugly as fuck and lazily designed. No.

You can make an all white shirt in a million different ways. Its all in the small details and the cut of the garment.

Having looked at the Nike site, the whole Vapour vs Stadium version of kit is a disgrace. I can just about get that the vapour version might be a slightly more expensive material and be more fitted but why must colours and design be different? They have gone out of their way to make the Stadium shirt look more shit, much the same way that supermarkets package the basic ranges to put you off buying the cheaper version. For £65 it is really unforgivable.

But that's exactly what has been done with this season's shirt!? It's still 80% plain white with some navy on the collar and a navy fade, that's all.

I'm not saying that anyone HAS to like it, if we all liked the same thing then life would be pretty boring. However, I take exception to the melodrama being peddled on here this morning like the shirt has a great big steaming turd on it when it's just a simple navy fade. I mean for goodness sake, it's nothing major is it?

Well I disagree that this is a small detail. Maybe its just my hopeless love for modernist designs. I want it clean and simple.

Agree with this - there have obviously always been plenty of differences between replica and player versions, but they seem to be becoming more stark each year (while the cost of the fan version keeps rising regardless).

Take a look at this replica Adidas made for Houston Dynamo last season (first pic), vs. the authentic one - totally different!
