Agree with this - there have obviously always been plenty of differences between replica and player versions, but they seem to be becoming more stark each year (while the cost of the fan version keeps rising regardless).

Take a look at this replica Adidas made for Houston Dynamo last season (first pic), vs. the authentic one - totally different!

They can’t really blame anyone if they buy fake version now as their Stadium version looks fake anyway

Having looked at the Nike site, the whole Vapour vs Stadium version of kit is a disgrace. I can just about get that the vapour version might be a slightly more expensive material and be more fitted but why must colours and design be different? They have gone out of their way to make the Stadium shirt look more shit, much the same way that supermarkets package the basic ranges to put you off buying the cheaper version. For £65 it is really unforgivable.
You're right. This is a complete piss-take by Nike:

I'll probably have the away shirt this year, but even the 3rd shirt this year looks too much like last years.

3rd shirt

edit; LOL! It *IS* last years! Silly bugger!

They won't even keep enough stock of the elite ones to make it to sale halfway through the season.
I fancied a Navy one from last year but they were gone in weeks and never came back.

Same, I would've bought the elite away by now with it being reduced. You can get last season's 3rd in elite and it's much cheaper but weirdly the home elite from last year is still £100 :cautious:

As ever, it's almost perfect but they've ruined it with the blue fade out at the bottom.

I posted exactly that about a page ago :ROFLMAO:
I have the elite 3rd in my checkout at the moment but I'm torn. I sort of like it, but it's a bit bold for my very average look

So what you're saying is that you'd like it if it didn't have the blue fade?

So if we take that off then we get this......

I know EXACTLY what you mean. It's a cool shirt but I'm not sure if it's a bit of me or not.

I think I've decided I want the away shirt in vapor but again....I don't wanna pay £90, so I probably won't.

I'm going to be out there and say i like them both. The home will look really smart as a full kit when playing

The club have clearly actually thought about the design with fade symbolising the new stadium.

I also think the socks design will make the shirt look less silly with the white shorts

People moan for the sake of it, its 2018 not bloody 1960
