I quite like the new kit- it's really nice.

Btw just to clarify: by "quite like" I mean "fucking hate" and by "really nice" I mean "appalling."

Remember when Under Armour launched a kit that made genuine reference to the club's history? Granted the yellow piping didn't go down well with some but at least they actually put some thought into it ;)

The Club’s new home and away kits were officially launched today with the designs inspired by former player and manager Bill Nicholson.
Recognised as one of the most significant people in the Club's history, 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of Bill's passing. The kits reference one of Bill's most famous quotes - 'It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.' This 'Echo of Glory' inspiration pays tribute to Bill's achievements and significant contribution to the Club.
The home kit is a traditional lilywhite shirt set off by a navy blue horizontal stripe running across the chest. A jacquard runs across the shoulders which includes the words 'Echo of Glory' taken from Bill's quote together with a pattern inspired by the famous gates which lead up to White Hart Lane on Bill Nicholson Way. Yellow taping on the sleeve cuff and collar adds an additional colour flash to set off solid navy blue shorts and white socks.
In the away kit, a yellow highlight is more visible down the front of the black shirt, with 11 stripes signifying the number of trophies won during Bill's reign. Yellow taping is also replicated along the sides of the accompanying black shorts and socks.

who is most likely to buy a kit cause thats who its aimed at.

I dunno if you have kids, but would if you do have a kid of a certain age, are you gonna tell him he can't have the new spurs shit because it looks shit (in your opinion)

I think almost all current fashions are shit and most kids under 30 look like morons dressed by their idiot mums.
That means I'm not really in a position to judge what looks good anymore :ROFLMAO:

I'm amazed in the differences between the Elite and the Stadium shirt this year. basically, for your standard replica shirt that is going up in cost at a rate that is completely unnecessary you are no longer getting something that really resembles that season's kit.

The away one is where it is glaringly obvious, the stadium shirt has so much difference it is like a fake against a genuine article (look at the sleeves for the design). The home shirt has the variance in the fade.

I can understand the suggestion that the materials used, the fit etc are a way of having a match shirt against a stadium shirt but they should at least look like they are the same shirt especially when paying upwards of £60.

I really don't understand why they need to look so different. You're right it's a completely different shirt

It's THFC and/or Nike trying to mug us off into buying the £90 shirts instead of the £65

The problem is, their designs are so controversial this season they may see reductions in sales of both.

Clubs don't make that much from shirt sales, It's Nike that will be raking it in.

I'm 31. I haven't bought a shirt since I was about 20. But if the leak of the colour scheme of the third shirt is anything to go by, this could be the biggest uptake of a third shirt since the glorious but ill fated, chocolate and gold shirt.

The home shirt looks ok... if you are wearing the short with it. But then the neck drop is just weird.

The away shirt looks OK colourwise but has a weird fit and doesn't go with the shorts.

I'm hoping the third shirt will be great. We could see loads of people opting for it over these first two.
