I wrote elsewhere that the 3rd kit is so gawd damn awful it is actually ok. I was given a predator promotional shirt when it was first launched(!). It is terrible, BUT it is certainly memorable. Kind of anti- design. Gotta love it. When I find it cheap somewhere half way through the season I’ll get me one. Won’t bother with the others though - they look too much like football shirts gone wrong. This is just crazy.

After the first couple times seeing us wear it you're gonna come right back in this thread and say how much you love it. ;)

If it was a different colour. It just doesn't work. Would look a lot stronger as dark navy with a grey map.

'Doesn't work' like all the other kits that ended up getting cum-spattered by fans after they spent endless pages in here trashing them. :D

I thought the away looked ok from the in match pictures a few pages back but after seeing it in this friendly today, I can confirm my initial thoughts in that it's absolutely horrible. My personal least favourite other than the piss stained CL entry one.

The dark blue shirt against the faded blue shorts and with the messy looking sound wave effect on the sleeves and side of the shorts and the overly contrasting socks, none of it feels like it goes together well. It just looks like way too much. A sheer example of why less is more to me.

Couldn't agree more. I literally cannot believe how awful this year's kit(s) are; all three of them beyond belief disgusting- almost as if the designers at Nike are Gooner trolls taking the piss. "Haha let's make the ugliest pieces of trash we can come up with and then foist them on stupid Tottenham fans and see if they'll actually pay money for them lol." Each look beggars belief, and it's sad to see some people bending over backwards to try and justify them.

Last season's kit(s) were great (indeed, the away shirt- save for the completely out of place badge- was one of the nicest Spurs tops ever produced), whereas this season's looks are a new low. And, as if the hideousness on display for every match of this historic campaign isn't bad enough, we- a club whose profile is rapidly rising on the world stage- are reduced to sporting Barcelona's training top as our away kit.

Then again to be fair I suppose Nike did need to do something with all that overstock...

Had my leaving drinks yesturday. The staff all spent over £130 on me with gifts! One of the lads got me the away top aswell. It's a good fit and so much better than last seasons home top. I still don't like the weird pattern on the arms but it's a nice top to wear.

I think the 3rd kit is the best of the lot (if the leaked design is accurate). My only issue is the line across the top - where it does from mostly-green to mostly-navy. I would have preferred a gradual fade into navy

That third kit is ghastly. I prefer the away kit (except when Dele wears it with a dark blue undershirt - just looks weird).

On a more important note, top five kits from the earlier selection:

- 22 (CL, VdV, Bale, Modric)
- 8 (FA Cup Final, rebirth of longer shorts)
- 23 (plain with a collar - quality)
- 5 (Maradona)
- 29 (although I didn't like the shield)

Got home yesterday to find that the Mrs had bought me the elite home shirt it's nice and has a sort of vented system on it that I think the normal replica shirts don't have.

I really like it. Also don't think the pattern will be as noticeable as what it appears to be in the photos

Its gonna be great when we win the league with no signings and the 3 ugliest kits ever produced, sending them all in to the Tottenham hall of fame and will never be forgotten.
