How many more times this season are we likely to wear it?

In a perverse way, I kind of like it though. It is totally ridiculous

In the past we've been quite random with our kit selection, sometimes we've worn the 3rd when the away would suffice and such so it's hard to say. Could be any one of Brighton, Southampton, Huddersfield or Fulham away to be honest.

I'm similar to you, I like it because it's different and a bit 'out there' but I don't particularly think it's greatly nice though. I much prefer our purple third of last season.

That's one of the problems of both away and 3rd kits. We only wear them half a dozen times each it seems.

Do occasionally get a game where the home kit would be fine and they randomly wear a change kit.

I think there's some kind of limit on how often you can wear each kit though. So we can only wear the home so many times.

Never knew this. I could understand if the three kits had different sponsors but this isn't the case.

Why's that a rule?

Never heard that before, is that a certainty? I thought there was some obligation to wear the change kits a certain amount of times but after last season with the purple third and the season before with the navy away and gold bands I wouldn't think that to be true either.

Where we can get away with our home we normally always do wear it.

I thought I read it somewhere but maybe it was just the away kit the rule applys for.

We mostly wore the purple kit as our away kit in Europe.

On a separate note, really don’t like Man City’s away kit, makes ours look better

Yeah it may be for the change strips, I thought it was some sort of club obligation, as it wouldn't be good to charge x amount for a kit that's never worn.

Yeah we wore it twice in Europe I believe, not once in the league.

That third kit was significantly better as a full kit when worn on the weekend than I expected. I thought the leaked shots of the shirt only were gash-tastrophic. Pleasant surprise.

Perversely I kind of like the green one (I'd have preferred it in purple though) however I hate watching games on tv where one side is wearing green as the players sort of melt into the pitch and it hurts my eyes.

That green one that's a wall hanger shirt, get it autographed in silver pen then frame it.

I rarely buy any of the shirts - last one being the 15/16 UA purple shirt - but I really like this season's 3rd shirt. So much that I've bought it. I think it could become one of the memorable ones like the brown and gold kit from 06-07 (that I also have).

Have we ever had a green outfield kit? I don't remember it we have!

I don't love or hate any of the kits, they're all just a bit meh.

They are a football shirt eh

Grown men going on and on about it

If you don’t like it, don’t buy and there will be a new one next year and if you like it, great go and buy. Simples eh

Good quality ?

Going back to this, the reissued 86 third shirt turned up to today. It’s cool but worth noting unlike the old de-Hummelled white 86 one I have, all the signage is laser printed on - the badge/Hummel logo isn’t stitched and the sponsor isn’t embossed material, so slightly lesser quality.

I would assume the new Hummel reissue of the white kit is the same.

Looks awesome. Made me have a look at the retro section for the first time on the site and I have to say there are a few that I would buy before any of this season's shirts if I'm honest.

I remember wearing that yellow one to school! All I see is Gazza

Yeah they’ve got a really good selection now. If they ever fully reissue the Le Coq Sportif ones, I’ll be all over them

They did start to re-issue the Le Coq Sportif shirts with all the logos present a few years ago but seemed to stop selling them rather abruptly and went back to stocking them with out the logo's.

FYI You can buy iron on LCS logos on eBay for about £4 each.
