Hell I rather like it. Also have never understood why people prefer the rounded T-shirt collar. Makes it look somewhat cheap IMO.

Really like it, considering it's the same old Nike template regurgitated in our colours (but that's our future now so spose I best get used to it) think the badges add enough style to it, and nice dark shades like the 90's Holsten kit for a bit of added Nostalgia

I’m glad we’re the purple team now- I always hated our navy blue-and-White history.

Opinions n assholes n wot not, but wow, can honestly say with certainty that I’ve never heard of anyone disliking the combination of navy and white.

Im shocked its taken them a whole year to design something so bland and unimaginative.

Not that I think the final one will look like a year's worth of thought towards the design, but that's just a mockup, probably just based off our leaked colour scheme for the away strip and Nike's new template. Still, last years kits didn't have much to them and I thought they were gorgeous.

But like @chrissivad said it's subjective, what you may find boring and unimaginative some may find beautiful.

Does anyone know how the design selection process works? I've always imagined that manufacturers like Nike or Adidas have 2 or 3 templates per shirt per season, and they offer clubs a choice of which ones they want for H/A/3rd etc. But maybe that's wrong?

It's far more collaborative than that. It's an ongoing discussion like any good design journey from inception to completion. Obviously Nike will pitch ideas and the club will impose limitations on what can and can't be used as the starting point from each side. Nike will use their templates as the basis and after some back and forth a version is signed off. Other clubs (see Brighton as an example) will get something much more 'off the shelf' and will simply get a design to pick, usually based on a previous year template, but the key partner clubs (Chelsea, us, City until this season, PSG, Barca, Roma) get special treatment, within the boundaries of Nike's wider offering.

Really didn't like this season's home shirt, especially as I really liked the clean look of the first nike effort home shirt season before.

Hope they stick to just white from now on aside from colour / edge of sleeves if they really have to.

Makes me miss days when we'd keep home shirt for two seasons and just away shirt would be changed each year as now they change home shirt every season you just end up with daft changes for sake of it at times.

Oh and white socks for home kit as think they look smarter than navy ones.

I would like a yellow away kit too as seems a bit silly to have navy / purple as away and that bright blue as third as all quite similar colours (and I prefer yellow away kits anyways as we had that kit in 93/94 and 94/95 around time I got more serious supporting Spurs).

Last season's home kit was the absolute best. So clean, understated and classy. I hope we move back to somethign like that for next season, although if Chelsea's rumoured Nike home kit is true, we could be in for another shocker.
