Yeah, I’ve always wondered this. I’d like us to play the last home game of the season in the new kit for the following season. I’d have thought that this would be the ultimate advertisement for the new shirt. Kit launches via the media outlets are a waste of time, plus shirt usually leaked before then also.
If people could buy the new kit before tootling off on their summer holidays, I think shirt sales would go up by a decent percentage too.

Was the last time we wore our new kit on the last game when we had the sash and Rose had red (I think) hair? It's not something we commonly do now I don't think.

Just hoping that design for the Chelsea home kit isn’t going to be used for all Nike kits

We won't have a sleeve sponsor until stadium naming rights are sorted, I believe it was stated this was the case so that the stadium sponsorship isn't effected by a clash that could devalue it

That concept/mock up or whatever it is that has been shared has this season's 'soundwave' graphic down the sleeves. I doubt very much that they would be using that again for next season, I haven't seen it on any of Nike's other 2019-20 stuff that's been shared already. Obviously that's not a determining factor, but it's enough to cast doubt, for me. I suspect the iridescent logo/purple third thing is probably genuine though.

Seeing as we didn't bother in the transfer market and we haven't bothered to get a sponsorship deal sorted out yet, perhaps we're just not bothering with a new kit?

What sponsorship deal do we need to sort? I guess you're talking Naming Rights? Sorry I am working that out as I am going along, as this was the kit thread and we have long term deals with Nike and AIA, I couldn't work out what you were referencing for a moment there!

I've always found it interesting that with mid range-to-luxury brands like Ralph Lauren, Armani and Tommy Hilfiger, the bigger the logo is the cheaper that range of clothing is going to be. And the names are always fucking so purposefully confusing. There's Polo Ralph Lauren and then there's the cheapo Ralph Lauren Polo. Then there's the Ralph Lauren polo shirt. There's Tommy Hilfiger and Hilfiger and Tommy.

I don't know where I'm going with this and I just deleted another three paragraphs of stray observations but I've committed myself now so fuck me if I won't post.

You’ve still been shopping in Tk Maxx haven’t you?

If ever there was a time to release a new kit, it would be in time for the champions league final. Every fan, myself included, would buy one to mark this beautiful historic milestone

My brother (hughton on COYS) is in Amsterdam today at a Nike conference. Says he has seen the away kit for next season. It's sky blue and is reminiscent of 1987 Hummel away kit (it has the NIKE logo in line with what we have heard from elsewhere).

EDIT: Now says he has seen all the training gear. "It's beautiful".
