I reckon Porto will win the Europa League this season, then I reckon him and Porto will win the Champions League next season. He realises he has taken as far as he can and wants a new challenge. Meanwhile England appoint Harry Redknapp as their new manager.....

The comparison with Ramos seems a lazy one solely based on the fact that they are both Iberian.

Villas Boas has just guided Porto to the league title with seven games to go, without having lost a game and conceding only nine goals.

He speaks fluent English, has Anglo ancestry and can draw upon experience in the Premier League from when he used to compile scouting dossiers for Mourinho when he was at Chelsea.

Having listened/read Villas Boas when he's been interviewed I would be surprised if he ended up at Chelsea. Although he's always been highly complimentary about Mourinho, he's never embraced the 'New Jose' label which the media have created. Taking over at Stamford Bridge would only intensify such a comparison.

Indeed. He reckons he's more a Bobby Robson (were it not for Sir Bob, AVB would never have made it in the game).

Wonderful talent and very exciting management prospect but certainly a risk. But then which manager isn't? I'd take him over Allardyce, Souness, Curbishley, or pretty much any other British manager with little hesitation.
