There once was an old man called Redknapp,
Who lead Spurs to greatness, then crap,
One minute we're triffic,
The next we feel sick,
As the Goons tell us "Mind the Gap"

But since then we have shit the bed

Said you're rubbish Harry
So go manage England instead.

There must have been quite a few posters searching for their hard-hats when this got bumped :ROFLMAO:

'Arry, wherever you may be,
Don't leave the captaincy with John Terry,
He is Nazi scum,
He'd shag 'is own Mum,
And he uses beer bottles violently.

Last line is a bit weak...I know

Had to search the thread to check on my contribution, before putting head above parapet - phew, seems I just assumed he was going and took it from there, and we could still sing this one.

(Freak me, Harry. Ahh yeah)

Let me lick you up & down,
'Til you say stop.
Let me play with your body Harry,
Make you real hot.
Let me do all the things, you want me to do...
'Cause tonight Harry,
I wanna get freaky with you.

Harry, don't you understand?
We wanna be your nasty men,
We wanna make your body scream,
Then you'll know just what I mean
(Then the kid fans give a bit of backing vox with "yeah, you'll know what I mean")
24 karat gold,
Don't want the night to grow cold,
I wanna lick you up & down,
Then I wanna lay you down,
Come on Harry.

Then shout 'Yiddo' a few times
 I officially feel a bit sick with that! LOL

You fat muthaf*****, you won't win nuthin'
We'll give him a slap, gi-give him a slap,
We'll give him a slap, gi-give him a slap,

(To the rap of Beez in the Trap by Nicki Minaj)

Yeah, I won't try to do this again.

I was struggling to figure out what tune that was to until you mentioned it at the bottom. Cheers.

We're all fickle dicks,
We're all fickle dicks,
Ungrateful bastards,
We're all fickle dicks.

I'm not fickle at all. I have stuck up for Redknapp for most of his tenure, including when we imploded last season (through a relatively benign run-in, after having got ourselves into a fantaastic position). I have said that if he doesn't get offered/doesn't take the AngrrrrrLund job, but does take us into the CL, I suppose, I wouldn't be apoplectic if he were allowed to continue. But I do have a serious concern, and it is one I know other SCers share: this is yet another slump at the business end of the season; it is almost like, at this level, it is part of his MO. I know, for the first time, have serious doubts that he has it in him to cope at this level. His methodology of making his select group of first teamers feel special tires them out by the business end of the season, while alienating the outsiders who remain, merely squad players, more so at exactly the period when we could really do with them coming through. To exacerbate this, he doesn't seem to have any comprehension of the value of core fitness training - if the reports are true. And his training methods, while being exceptional for team-spirit creation, just do not seem to be equipping us in such basaic areas as the taking and defending of set-pieces. This season we haven't even got the excuse that the team are tired due to CL involvement.

If we had a horrible start to the season, this season, but finished like a house on fire, even if we got the same points and finishing league position as we will eventually do anyway, I would be unperturbed. But I am, because, once again, we are struggling, and struggling in such basic ways, at the business end of the season.

I am not really being hostile to Redknapp - if he has just taken us as far as he can, fair enough, we all have limits to our abilities. I am thankful for what he has done, we have some great memories, and, as someone said elsewhere, he has exceeded his remit, which was to stabilize the club. But I am not of the opinion that we probably need someone who can rectify all of these areas, while combining it with some of his finer qualities. It is not a decision I reached afterthe Goons hammering, or the United game, or the Everton game. it is not even a decision I reached after the Norwich game - so I don't think you can label it as unreasoned knee-jerking. I finally reached this decision after the QPR game. I think the man has taken us as far as he can, it is time to say thankyou for your efforts - he'll most likely be moving on to his best efforts, so it isn't even like he is being shuffled out the back door with undue haste. But I think his time has past - I don't think that is being fickle.

I am a dick, however

What madness, supporting the manager and team ahead of booing them and chastising them when we're scrapping and at bare bones?

Crazy idea, can't see it catching on.

No disagreement, but the bit in bold...

Why are we at bare bones?

It could have been very easily avoided.
