Looks like they're using a fire hose and smashing more down at the moment from the video feed (you can just about see it in 2 of the feeds)

Water used to suppress the dust?

I've not been to the Emershites, but I'd guess there's not much else inside other than seats and 60k ****s.
NWHL has so much mkore going on inside.
Untrue. There's banqueting halls, etc.

In fact it feels like a conference centre which happens to have a pitch in the middle. Not like a football stadium

So a few of my mates have bought in the New west stand which is actually sold out now on the corp front. So asking to join them I'm told well actually its sold out but we are talking to the architects to increase the number of seats and if we can do that then i can seat you with the other guys. Ok so how many new seats? about a 1000!!!!!

when asked if its just regular seats converted to corporate or a stadium capacity increase:
not sure definitely increasing the capacity in that section I though he mean t an additional 1000 corporate as it all sold.

I've got no problems with increasing the corporate numbers but not at the normal fan's cost. Fleece the corporates to within an inch of their lives is what I say!

Presumably they are starting on the West stand to gain easy access and egress to take away the rest of the ground, particularly the Paxton which I imagine they'll start on next.

I agree with that, I went with a good friend who is a Gooner (he had no-one else to go with lol) I did wear my spurs shirt under my coat and did the big reveal in the home dressing room, much to many Goonies displeasure!!!

Its built to a good standard with corporate facilities of course, however ours looks a lot better in my opinion. A soul-less bowl in all honesty....

Not sure if this has been covered before, but looking at the amount of land between the West Stand and the High Road, rather than demolishing the whole ground and starting again, could we not have just pulled down the West Stand and built a new, much bigger and better-featured West Stand with three tiers? Surely we could have added up to 10,000 seats that way?

Clearly the brand new stadium will have ~15,000 more seats than that might have resulted in, but at a much, much grater cost. I guess Levy et al are banking on the predicted greater commercial profile of the club / new ground increasing our future earning potential above and beyond the extra cost associated with a complete rebuild?
