They'll bolt in the cables that extend from the compression ring to the 'flying' steelwork, then all things being equal start laying the roof cassettes on top.

It's going to take a while to put in 62,000 seats.

yep I know, perhaps if that is the next stage they will cover them up until it's near the time. but wouldn't be shocked if it was started nearer the end of May than straight after the roof.

They will have to move all that gear and cables under the roof frame next I guess. Shouldnt take long. Would have thought seats go in after the roof cassettes.

It's going to take a while to put in 62,000 seats.

I'm assuming they'll already be pre-mounted in sets of twelve on their frames waiting to be wheeled in a dozen at a time, or something. Even then it's going to be a mammoth task, but I can't wait to see it with the seats in place. It's one of the "stages" I have in my head of completion/satisfaction.

The roof lift is cool but until it's actually up and the last spanner comes off the last bolt that secures the last cable that holds the whole thing in place, It's still going to feel like a building site.

The seats wont take very long at all. All the seat rails are already in place and i believe the seat will just hook over the rail and then tighten on either side. They will have a spacer to then use to position the next one a set distsnce away along the rail.
Id say 8000 a day is around what we will see when the time comes. 50 odd people working on it. I think the roof completion and the south stand framework/getting water tight are most critical right now.

Agreed. Installing the seats is something that can be done by dozens of people. If necessary, they could have a couple of people per row, per block timed so that they wouldn't get in each others way. I don't think that should be necessary but it could be done very quickly.

Anyone else know why the North Stand camera has been off all weekend? It's been my go-to camera during the early roof lift but it's been a blank screen since Friday :(

I'm assuming it's being relocated or is just in the way so they turned it off?

Yes it was also my go to camera but I've just been scrolling down to time lapse two and keeping an eye on it in there. It's kept up to date regularly. Hope this helps if you didn't already know.

Thanks - I always assumed the time lapses were well behind
