Looking at camera 6, I’d say another couple of days max for the roof lift to be completed

There's a first time for everything, i guess...

Back to the stadium, it's pretty amazing how high they've got that thing now. Losing Camera 6 for a while, you can really notice the difference from that angle now it's back.

Just amazes me the engineering behind all this. I mean, sure, the winches are probably all controlled centrally by a computer that monitors every 1000th of a millimeter to make sure they're all pulling at the same rate, but if you boil it down, it's the simplest concept. Block & tackle evolved.

As a species, we are capable of some pretty awesome stuff.

Yeah they're a fantastic idea. But how will it work with Guinness?

Edit: Turns out it will work with Guinness fine. That's my one concern sorted.

I’ve seen them somewhere before and I’m just trying to convince myself it wasn’t some wonderful dream.
They have those in the Hilton at Wembley. Problem is that I spilt half of it down me trying to figure out how it works

I'm sure they were posted about in this very thread ages ago where it was confirmed they were going to be used

Great to see so much work done this week, the little work in the previous month was a big disappointment for someone like me who checks the cams far too often. With the longer days, the work needs to really push on and I'm sure it will (although this guys videos always worrys me when he shows the final stadium picture and I remember how much work still needs doing)

I'm sure plenty of work was completed last month, but probably the majority was internal fit out which obviously we can't see from the live cams.

Anyone seen these before? Reddit appears to think this is how the bar will work at the new stadium

I sincerely hope that they are made of recyclable plastic. I understand of course that applies to what we have now, but it’s one load of waste. They also look more rigid than the soft ones we have now.
