Excuse my ignorance but I wouldn’t have a clue about NFL
Well basically Ryan, its one bloke who can throw a ball, a couple who can catch a ball, and a load of skill-less, concussed lumps in the middle having a wrestle...oh and before I forget, for a couple of minutes per match they'll bring on a bloke who can kick it really far.
Its quite the spectacle.

And it can take 4 hours to finish. With only about 1 hour of actual playing time due to so many stoppages!

A while ago I heard something about an air conditioned or outdoor smoking area in the south stand to stop people smoking in the toilets. Is that happening?

Saw on the plans a smoking area but it ison the corner of the west stand and south so not sure if it is for corporate or plebs.
If they want people to stay after the game it's a good idea.

Oh yeah not a like a testimonial, ok.
Still think it would be nice to do something for Greaves and Perryman though.

The club is very supportive of the Tottenham Tribute Trust which was set up many years ago and actively supports ex-players who are in need of help. They also made a big contribution from The Finale match which was publicised at the time.

As I understand it, they generally do not talk about the individuals they help, for confidentiality reasons, and because it may deter some players from seeking help if they thought it may become public knowledge, so I’m not sure this sort of high-profile charity match for individual or named players would be a flyer.

Why? Would be one of the main reasons some people won't stay to drink after the game - smokers will want to go to the pub so they can smoke and drink.

Or quit smoking and put the circa £10 a pack saving* into a big jar and buy a season ticket, live a bit longer and don't stink like an ash tray. ;):bag::whistle:

:p

*avg 11cigs per day = 3 packs a week = £1440 P/A

Not the thread for it i know but i'm just saying...

Give up drinking, cocaine, going to football and kill yourself, you will save even more.

Much, much easier said than done for most smokers though.

In more relevant news, it looks like seats are starting to go in!
