I'm guessing they've had them try or thought that might be an issue before hence they removed that first section of stairs for the sky walk.

Gotta be a mate of someone who works there to get on the roof surely?

Not necessarily - there's a few active and crafty base jumpers in London, i've seen footage of jumps inside the o2 and, if my memory serves, Wembley Arena? Same guy managed to jump Nelsons Column as well.

It's the same every time though - they stake it out for a day or two, work out shift changes, places they can skip the fence or join a line of people coming in or out, then just put on their business face and go for it - confidence gets you a long way, and with the camera's everywhere, it would be much easier to scope out potential routes to the roof.

I'm more surprised it's taken this long to happen.

My money’s on Chris Cowlin. He probably screamed “Europe’s biggest club shoppppppppppp...” just before he deployed the chute.

I've watched a lot of his videos and this made me laugh for about 10 minutes!

Didn't some nutter climb on one of the cranes and hold up construction pretty early on too?

my sister moved that way last October "Alford"
Lovely part of Lincolnshire around the Wolds. Was there this morning picking up my step son. He lives in a disabled youngsters home. Coming to us for the weekend and his dad and step mum are visiting us tomorrow to see him too.

This is on Haringey Council site regarding Spurs matches.

Road Closures
For most matches, general traffic will be not be able to access the High Road between White Hart Lane and Lordship Lane/Lansdowne Road. This will occur two hours prior to kick-off and one hour post-match.

Apart from buses did they used to close the High Rd at WHL before the game?
With the new CPZ in Edmonton coming in to force on match days anybody trying to go by car to NWHL is going to find it a real hassle.

Was always going to be the case really. The roads could barely cope with 36k, not to mention the duty we have to try and discourage driving to games for environmental reasons. It's just a shame the train links aren't great for a lot of people.

Fortunately for myself don't go by car but many supporters live well outside London so have little option. Even with crossrail 2 proposed for 2030 I can see vast queues outside the two stations and I doubt if there much room for improving the frequency of trains at WHL station. Looks like a lot of walking for some so should keep fans fit.

Because I’m interested in the stadium build, it’s progress and new features. I suspect there will be very few members here interested in or care about the font used by the club.

Feck me, I knew the stadium was going to be multi-purpose. But blistering barnacles...baptisms.

Unless the corner bars in the ground are good and well priced. Midweek games will be a problem though.
