12,13,19,20 Feb possible dates, because as runners up we will play the first leg at home, March dates could have been the case had we won the group, but that ship sailed a long time ago and went after the first 3 Champions League fixtures, but hey ho, up until Tuesday night earlier this week when the final whistle went in the San Siro most of us and that includes Levy and our entire staff must have thought that realistically we would more likely than not end up in the Europa League, and rated our chances as outside at best, factor in that we got through with a draw makes it even more amazing, because even as outside chances go, most of us would have predicted that Inter drawing at home with us matching that would have been outside of an outside possibility, and taking that one stage further, it was looking even more of a remote possibility than even that after going down 1-0 within the first 10 minutes. Levy surely realises that we have have grabbed a chance of getting another shot at having Champions League football in the new stadium that he must have privately thought had gone for this season, and this will give us renewed incentives for getting the job complete, if ever there needed to be. This give a possible variation of 8 days as to when this fixture will be played, could be really pivotal in the ultimate outcome as to whether this dream comes off and I suspect most of us hope that the fixture schedule is kind enough to pencil it in for the 20th February rather than the 12th February as we may end up needing those extra 8 days if events go to the wire(excuse the pun on reference to wiring)......
Not sure what you dislike more... Levy or full stops! ;)

Takes deep breath. I really don’t think that the CL provides any sort of incentive. I’m sure we will move in as soon as we are able.

Indeed. The idea that we can just “try harder” to solve all the stadium issues because we have the carrot of a CL tie is a bit ridiculous imo.

It’s not like Levy watched the Barca game and immediately phoned his wife and said “find my toolbox, I’m going in”.

He normally only gets to say that to Mrs Levy on his birthdays and other special occasions.

Looks like they are putting up a Christmas tree above the media cafe. Pointless observation of the day...

Just a thought, because all the cameras inside the stadium are off, is whether or not the players are getting time to play on the pitch either already or in the near future so that they get 5he feel if the stadium?.

Staying true to form we should probably analyse the shit out of it anyway. How big is it? Real or plastic? Does the tree know when the stadium will be ready? Have you even asked it? Ask the tree dammit! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to shout. It’s not easy being homeless at this time of year. So cold. So... so cold...

To be honest yesterday I stopped caring if first game is United, Newcastle or even beginning of February. Now I just want soooo much Champions League to be played at home.

I would be worried about it's home grown status!

Oddly enough there is another one at the top of the big stairs by the south stand. Weird place to have it because it can hardly be seen so maybe they are gonna lift it onto the roof of the shop, although that seems weird as well. Further analysis required.

If we are drawn madrid in the cl i reckon that will be it. It's business at the end of the day and enic will wnt to advertise to the whole world our new stadium.
No chance the first game is midweek, it will open at the weekend. In fact I would say it's better if it opens against Newcastle, followed by Leicester and then maybe a big CL fixture as the 3rd game. It would give us the chance to ensure that everything is set up and perfect for a massive European night.

Aren't the youtube feeds still up for the camera in the north stand on the inside?

The new stadium will open as soon as it is ready and we have the relevant safety certificates. If that's a mid week game so be it.
