Looking at the facilities and given the cost of running any establishment without patrons, does anyone know whether or not the stadium will be open to the public seven days a week? At least the restaurants and bars.

Inside the stadium? Not a chance, unless they decide to go big on the stadium tours but in any case I only see that perhaps being a bar in a lounge or something.

Bars and lounges is what I had in mind given the brewery, bakery, Michelin starred chefs and abseiling along with other outside activities....

Appreciate it’s not the finished job, but I think the lights look a bit tacky and I’m not keen on the translucent effect. Much prefer the cladding in the day time
Id imagine its only going to be lit up like that for evening events.
Cant see it being the purple beacon every night.
Personally I think it looks fantastic.
When you think about the club wanting the images shown around the world on CL nights its not hard to see why we threw away cups to focus on the league, rightly or wrongly.

I'm hoping the translucent effect is just down to the exposure time of the photograph.

Can't tell anything from a photo, but I guess few people will see it from that angle. It should look good from the air, which might attract a few tourists. Can't tell what it would look like from ground level, though. You'd only ever see a small section of it.

Cowlin reports big progress..

Thanks for posting that (and the other video)

Watching those videos it becomes clear that there is actually very little external work left to do

2 to 4 weeks and 99.9% of the remaining work will be complete (I'm guessing)

Couple that with internal work continuing and I'm starting to think we may well be in there by the end of the season

Also, those videos are a good reminder of the scale of the project

Almost worth the delay to be honest, given how immense (and financially useful) the finished stadium will be!!

Agree that I think the lights don't look good at all.

Much prefer Wembleys huge screen outside. At least that shows team news etc.
Or Allianz all being lit up one colour looks much better.

Will judge it in the flesh though.

COYS.

The new stadium has two screens, one on the East and one on the West stand. As for the lights, so far they've only been tested, there hasn't been a full light up of the stadium as yet. I think people are far to quick to judge.

Blistering barnacles.

I thought that the stadium was all going to be lit up akin to Allianz.

Whilst it looks pretty decent, the lights do appear somewhat random from the pictures posted.

Still, stadium itself looks the mutts nuts.

EDIT: @Dunc2610 that explains my thinking it looks lit randomly. Do you know how much actually will light up ??
