Just noticed how similar the north stand aspect is to the Bernabeau. Looks like a slightly smaller version.

Apparently they're half way through the tests so some news next week might be possible I guess
I wonder how many of each test they have to run? I assume they have to test each aspect a certain number of times to make sure it passes each time?

I got no idea, just repeating what I read in a couple of places.
Understood. I'm just saying it didn't really hit me until I saw the "2 weeks of testing" mention that they probably have to test things things over and over to make sure they are actually in working order. Just curious as to what the success rate needs to be. If they test them 100 times do they have to work 100 times? or is there room for error and they have to have a certain % success rate? I'd imagine as they're safety systems they have to work EVERY time.

They'll have to check each device to see if it's working as intended and that all the information being relayed back to the panel and to other panels and devices is correct, address etc... so say there are 2000 smoke detectors in the building each will have to be checked. Then heat detectors, break glass units etc...

I understand that part, I'm just wondering how many times each of those things have to be checked. Surely it can't be just a "check each of them once and move on" deal.

As I work in that industry, I will ask our chief testing engineer tomorrow how long he would think this would take (based on 2000 devices to be tested)

After all these delays, if I was Daniel Levy, I don't think I'd want to sign off on all of the stadium until I was 100% certain every single test was passed.

2000 people can test 2000 devices in 10 minutes. 1 person may take just a little longer ;)

Additionally, if I were DL I'd move them along as soon as the 1st attempt passed. "See, we are good. Move along!"

If Brighton and Palace get through to the next round, as is likely, and we have no matches between 9 March and 6 April, followed by having to cram three matches per week into April, I would expect that one or two matches will be rescheduled into the gap. In that case, I expect we would play them at NWHL if possible.

Have no idea how many devices there are. He'd probably have a much better idea.
