Re the tension in the crowd it was exactly the same at The Woolwich on Sunday & the Ruski Empire West London on Monday, those fans are desperate to finish above us in the league to try and restore their superior attitudes that they used to have but now being challenged every season by Poch and the team. When a player makes a poor pass and there were a few last night it's natural for the crowd to get anxious.

I gave my ST seat to my dad for the game. Watching the game on TV sounded like we were at Wembley

I tried to get a few songs going on the south lower but most people just didn’t seemed bothered to get behind the team. Too complacent I suspect.

Does anyone know if we can find season ticket seat swaps off our own backs or does the club not allow this?

Our group of 3 ideally want to move up but the club keep putting out that there will be no seat swaps this summer.

I think the depressing anti-football played by Brighton greatly contributed to the depressing atmosphere last night.

The club has had a very quick rethink on their cut backs in the 1882 club. Last night they had reverted to free drink vouchers for pre game and at half time as well as a food voucher you can use at any Touchline food outlet in the stadium, They also gave us a programme again. So they are listening to complaints from members which is really encouraging.

There appears to be a belief among some people that last night's match lacked atmosphere which is utter bollocks, last night was one of the most atmospheric matches I can remember, the atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Its @riggi's fault.
His birthday was ruined by a 10 year old.

Why would they go on general sale?

The game was totally sold out pre game. The empty seats were simply ST holders not coming to the game. Any member could have got a ticket on the Ticket exchange this eve.

Only paid up members could buy re-listed season tickets.
Most of the paid up members have already bought tickets when they went on sale.
It's the ones who are too stingey to become a member that can't buy the ticket.
They moan they can't afford the £50 but I can't see how they can then subsequently afford £50+ every single game they want to go to so badly.

Atmosphere was decent. Way better than the equivalent fixture at the old girl.

Agreed. At Wembley the atmosphere would have been dire but it got going at times last night. Plus amongst the groans there were some attempts to inject energy into the players.

At OWHL I’m fairly sure the atmosphere would have been worse too.

Noticed during a rendition of stand up if you hate Arsenal (hate that song but can see why it's sung atm) that the entire Park Lane was stood up with the exception of a couple of blocks bang in the middle that was clearly the 1882 section.

Given these were sold as "being in the heart of the atmosphere" you'd think the people in there would at least get involved in that ffs. Was never a fan of that block of 'corporate-lite' in the middle of the Park Lane and I think the fears are justified.

Last night was good though. Far better than the same game would have been at Wembley or the old Lane, as has been said.

I'm probably in that section but I can assure you that the other fans around me are not corporate types they are just a mixed bunch of fans including some very young fans.

There was plenty of standing up at critical moments in the game

I’m not sure this attempt to sow division amongst fans is particularly helpful. We’re all spurs fans and we all want the team to win and play good football. We’re blessed at the moment because the team is doing just that.

I was just listening to The Fighting Cock podcast and they were saying that at Wembley we were selling 26,000 units of beer per game. For the legends game we sold 40,000 units of beer with a much smaller crowd. Once the club works out the real demand in sure things will become a lot smoother with far fewer drinks selling out.

It's not about being stingy for a lot of people, it's about being able to afford it. A lot of people want to go to one or two games a season. Would you pay an extra £40 on top of the normal ticket price to go to a game? Or an extra £120 for a family of four?

Do you happen to know how many paid up members we have?
