I doubt £60k on a consistent basis. £50k maybe, £60k no chance imo.

Can i take a deck chair to the incomplete stand of the new Stadium when the season starts up? I wont be in the way and i can help fetch the ball when it goes behind the goal.

Stadium of Light in Lisbon was also built in stages, with the stadium only completed after the original stadium was demolished. It worked very well, opened on time and the fans enjoyed seeing the new stadium being built close up. Hopefully the Spurs board wont find any delays after the 40000 section is open and it really is only 1 season playing in the incomplete new stadium!!!!

I bloody hope we make more than that, the scum get £3m a game!

What a dumbass, I edited instead of quoting

I'm just rediculously used to writing a £ sign when writing numbers followed by k. I blame work

I say we keep the old one too and have an 80-90k superstade! Might get quite a few restricted view seats though

Shall we just call it Emirates II now?

Or Estadio da Luz mk XXXXXVVVIIII

It looks like very early sketches, so hopefully they'll put some more imagination into the finished designs! The Allianz Arena shows that what looks like a bowl outside can be pretty damn cool on the inside.....

Get the Germans in!

From the "bird's eye" sketches, it does look like a bowl, which is not ideal.

But here's the deal - the club have put it out as a consultation paper. In other words, those that want to have a say get the opportunity of putting their views across.

Either go to the website, sign up wherever you need to sign up and put your views across, or pay a visit over the next week and put your views across.

If you can't be bothered to do that, when the club have gone to the trouble of requesting it, and instead prefer to moan on here, then don't be surprised if your views are not listened to.

I'm pretty sure the bowl shape in the Public Consultation booklet is just a placeholder. I like the idea on skyscrapercity to have steep angled seats and an iconic roof which can be seen from miles around. Would be a pretty intimidating stadium.

The idea on skyscrapercity is someones mock up though isn't it?

Is anyone else a bit disappointed there isn't more information in there about the actual stadium itself?

I know it's only a consultation paper but surely they've got a bit more of an idea of how it may look. I suppose I was hoping that after all this time they were a bit further on in their plans.

I agree with what MattyP says though. If people don't like it then actually say something to the club rather than just posting 'it's too much like the Emirates' on here.

They've given us a forum to communicate...so it's probably a good idea to use it.

Don't know if anyone has seen this but I like the cut of the guys jib.

I especially lik ehis idea to have the memorial with the roof truss of WHL.

WOW, I am LOVING that design, he should send that in as his "comments" from the fans which is what Levy is now expecting to get from us all.

I just hope that the main things that Levy gets from us all is that we don't want an emirates mk 2, something original in design, iconic and possibly somehow pay homage to the old lane as this chap has done above.
