The sloping angle on that top beam suggests that will be the highest point for that section then.

Spurs tried to establish a "home end" for us for the CL games. I think the point was missed as they thought it was all a home end.

There's a lot of space between seats and rows which is lovely for us claustrophobic folk, but means people just sit down and chill out (that is a wembley stadium problem)

Exactly, as it should iron out any flaws and highlight any areas of concerns making the transition to the stadium hopefully flawless for the 1st home match the season.

I wouldn't be shocked providing it is well on schedule that we might try and host a pre-season tourney before we start the season

Those are all very valid reasons as to the lack of atmosphere but unless Tottenham seat supporters pretty much as they are currently situated at WHL we have little chance of a decent atmosphere at Wembley all next season

Add that to the fact that there will be 5k+ away supporters every week packed in to an area making a hell of a bloody racket

At best worrying in regards to our home form

Has something been said about away fans allocation for next season? Premier league rules require a club with stadium capacity of over 30,000 to offer at least 3,000 away tickets. It's unusual for any club to offer more than this for league games and I can't see why Spurs would want to either. As you say 5k+ would make a right racket so I'm sure we'll keep it to the minimum.

Totally agree, but, if the spammers for example may bring 10k fans and we reckon we would have room then would we turn that down? I don't know the thinking but we'll see.

Just use the Arsenal excuse of "security fears". The extra income from allowing 10k Spammers or Chelsea fans in would be wiped out by policing costs.

I'll counter that. We give them 3k tickets, don't sell out and 10k turn up. Where's the safest place to keep them - in or outside the stadium? Obviously different scenario in our new stadium when we sell out for games. Maybe we'll do a Fulham and have a 'neutral' area?

So the stadium was projected to cost around 450m, I can't imagine the total would be around 90% over. Unless I'm mistaken.
