We’re going home...

There are other reasons than sentiment and memories for this. Any materials already on site that you can reuse in the new structure get you major sustainability brownie points. Developers are set targets for this kind of thing by the planning authorities and this is a good, cheap way to meet them, while at the same time doing everything that Ledley King is talking about in the video.

As well as saving money by not having to buy in aggregate, there is also a saving of diesel and road congestion in the building materials that do not have to be delivered and the demolition materials that do not have to be carted away and recycled remotely or put into landfill.

It's an "everyone wins" scenario.

Even better if they can sell on unused materials that they didn't have to pay for in the first place!

I'm waiting more impatiently for the news next week on season ticket allocation than even the game tomorrow. Hope I get some decent choice at an affordable price. Can't wait for next season

Decent choice at an affordable price? Its Levy, what do you reckon?

I think they will make the cheapest ST £995, just that we have an option priced below a grand. The rest.....good luck

You do understand how demand and supply works?
The club will sell based on how much people are willing to pay in order to maximise profit just as any football club in the country.
People may be willing to pay more for a ticket (possible due to everyone wanting to see the new stadium) or the increased capacity may mean that we have to sell some tickets cheaper.
Really it has almost nothing to do with levy.

So the effort was more for cost savings than sentiments. You just burst my feel good aura :(

At the start of the season, is it potentially just going to be the stadium finished or are all the accompanying hotels, apartments and climbing walls etc.....supposed to be finished as well? There just seems so much to be done.

I'm guessing it's just the stadium that will be finished with the rest to follow.
