Levy was going to cover the roof with Spotify but the subscription fees were too high.

2-3 weeks behind is all relative really. As we don’t actually know what the completion date was. They may have set it for early July giving themselves a month breathing space. I think the latest for a test event would be late August. So we should be fine. I’d imagine the longer evenings will be a big help as well.

Been told we are 2 to3 weeks behind on the external build, but ahead of schedule for the interiors.

Thanks @Grey Fox. What effect it will have would depend on the critical path. i.e. what bits are relying on something else being done, before they can be done. So, for instance the floodlighting can't be done until the roof, and probably the casettes, is / are in. The internals are probably reliant on the various rooms being watertight or some other work being done. Although as said previously here, they could / would put up some form of waterproof sheeting to enable the work to go ahead anyway. That may well be what the light coloured hangings are inside many of the windows.

It may well be that they could throw more workers at those areas that are late and recover some of the time anyway. Also as said above, if the finish date is scheduled for 1st July, for instance I really don't know, then 2 or 3 weeks is not a major issue.

Two weeks delay is nothing in reality. Usually, we have a international break right after first 2 games. If that schedule remains, we could have first 2 games as away, then there be international break. Then we could start playing home games may be

Unless the deadline was at the end of the international break and not the start. Then we’re six weeks into the season.

Dream scenario is we start next season at Wembley.

Would that starter game at Wembley be the Charity Shield by any chance? :)
