Only thing I'm slightly concerned about is that the bounce might be a bit different with these trays underneath to a regular surface. In the same way that Monaco's has extra high bounce due to the car park underneath. Probably be fine, but if there's one thing that concerns me it's that.

What's concerning about that?

Some of you lot have too much time on your hands..

I think you should get a football go and bounce it off a carark and then tell us if kane can score 30 goals a season under them conditions.

I am more concerned that the weight of the pitch trays (especially when sodden), combined with the weight of the tracks and the underlying concrete base to the american football pitch, will be too much for the foundations and it will all fall in on the underground car park and facilities room underneath it all. I do know that engineers can work all this out and ensure it's strong enough, and whenever I go down the canary wharf tube station escalators I can never understand how the park above and all the shops don't come down on the cavernous underground station. It's all engineering magic and us normal folk should not worry our small, non-engineering minds about it.
Maybe it's Levy's master plan all along for the NFL. "There can only be 1 form of football!!"

It would seriously surprise me if the stands were not all accessible by escalators and lifts. Any modern stadium ought to have all parts accessible. The Emirates was completed more than a decade ago and it has escalators everywhere, to all stands.

.I still have trouble coming to terms with the way the water spouts used to come out of the ground in the old pitch, always wondered where did they go? was there a hole or was there a little lid that closed when they went down again?
And of course, why did they water the pitch at half time when it had been raining anyway?:)

I'm glad it's not just me. I know they must retract to quite some way below the pitch surface, but whenever I see them I have a vision in my head of some poor soul lunging into a slide tackle and slicing their leg open on an exposed sprinkler head.

Either that, or catching their foot on the hole - assuming it isn't covered over somehow!

Salty Arsenal comments as well. Must be bitter for them we’ve taken their stadium and upgraded it ??

Not sure we should be comparing ours to theirs, ours much closer to pitch, our south stand totally different, and apart from 1882 no hospitality seats behind goals at ours, and our roof built like a concert hall http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/six-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-new-tottenham-stadium so perhaps we should all learn the words to Nessun Dorma.

"It's as different as a pork pie to a bakewell tart" was how my wife put it to me, I think she's pretty spot on.

The comparison was because it was posted by an Arsenal supporter and most of the comments are from them. Actually think the comparison is quite interesting. If it was us I’d be really pissed off you only get to do this once every 100 years. And basically they’ve let everyone else see how not to do it and in 10 years all their rivals will have better stadiums even Everton.

A question those who have been following the stadium build closely might be able to answer. I have a medical condition that comes and goes but when bad means climbing steps is real hard work ... so does the new stadium have a number of escalators and if so is there a better part of the stadium to be in? One reason I went for Club Wembley was because it was accessible but at the new stadium I am restricted to the relatively limited concession seats so need to choose carefully

I have sent you a PM

I think some kind of helta-skelter for a quick exit from top sections would be very good idea lol.
Seriously though even Wembley, while great getting up with escalators, is still tough on my 72 yr old Dads knees coming down 600 flights of stairs.

Edit I do not have 72yr old dad knees.
I meant my dads knees. He's 72 :ROFLMAO:
