Nope. I still cant make fk all out of these roof shots. Just not seeing it. Am I alone in that lol?

Not sure what you don’t get. You can see a cassette being put in place. They are like panels that slot between the uprights. There’s hundreds of them to fix in place think it’s about 800.

Well you see to me a cassette is something you listen to music on back in the day not stick on a roof.
And its not this photo specifically.
Its all of them that just look lile a load of cables and metal poking out and everyones going oh yeah you can see blah blah blah.
Nope. Just see a mess lol.
Not really bothered to be honest.
Sure itll be lovely when its finished.

Does anyone know how many people the stadium will hold for concerts?
Will depend on the stage setup for the artist.

There's your traditional stage at one end of the pitch, that will block out an entire stand (guessing they'd set up in front of the North stand)

Some tours have a more central stage so that every seat can be used. U2 did that for their 360 tour in 2009-2011.

add the GA floor tickets and you could have a crowd exceeding 62k

It would seriously surprise me if the stands were not all accessible by escalators and lifts. Any modern stadium ought to have all parts accessible. The Emirates was completed more than a decade ago and it has escalators everywhere, to all stands.

There are escalators but it looks as if only in east & west stands and it is not clear if they are useable by everyone or just box holders and hospitality, no mention of escalators in north or south stands, extract from stadium design :

7.2.4 VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION
North Podium 2no 33 person external glazed lift car with partially glazed enclosure serving from L00 to podium.
South Podium 4no 33 person external glazed lift car with partially glazed enclosure serving from L00 to podium located in the southwest near the hotel, the south between the residential blocks and the south-east near the stewards entry.

VIP lifts West stand 2no 33 person dedicated lifts serving the Directors’ suite and Platinum Club from Level B1 to Level 04.
3no 26 person lifts serving SkyLounge and Level 04 Suites from Level B1 to Level 09
2no 26 person lifts serving L02 suites and Club and Level 03 Club from Level 00 to Level 03
2 no escalators linking level 00 to level 02
2 no escalators linking Level 02 to level 03
1 no escalator linking Level 03 to Level 04

VIP lifts East stand 2no 26 person lifts serving SkyLounge and Level 04 Suites from Level B1 to Level 09
2no 26 person lifts serving L02 suites and Club and Level 03 Club from Level 00 to Level 03
1 no escalator linking Level 00 to Level 01
1 no escalator linking Level 01 to Level 02
1 no escalator linking Level 02 to Level 03

VIP lifts North stand (Future fit out) 2no 21 person lifts Level B1 to Level 03

GA accessible lifts / evacuation 4no 33 person lifts serving the south stand GA from Level 00 to Level 02

GA accessible lifts / evacuation / goods 8no 33 person lifts serving all spectator levels Level B1 to Level 05 located in the main cores.

Dedicated goods lifts 2no 33 person goods lifts serving from Level B1 to Level 05 located in the north-west core and north-east core. 1no vehicular sized lift serving Level B1 to Level

...So for example in south stand there is lift access to the level of row 30 so anyone in row 82 south has a long old climb.

a few snippets from stevieed on ssc:
At Wembley today (let’s not talk about the result...) and I did the mini VR suite they have set up.

Nothing groundbreaking to come from it but:
- corporate seats are 85% sold
- Spurs are not yet sure what to do with the Skybridge (their thoughts are still being refined, but it will at some point be a lounge of sorts)
- the club monitors this forum (hello!)
- build is on track
- the sales team are really excited by the fit and finish

Might sound like a funny thing to say but after seeing the last drone footage I’ve just thought that if they put the roof casettes on aren’t they going to lose a lot of natural light for doing work?

No idea how much electrics are in but they aren’t going to be able to put the roof lights on immediately for example.

They will use mobile floodlights like these.

They work inside no problem, why would a roof be an issue? If it's dark they'll use lights. They have electricirty for their tools.
