The cladding is similar to those used for the Gasholders development in Kings Cross.

Yeah, very similar style, and with the addition of the large concrete areas of NWHL it's going to look really solid and intimidating.

I, as a wheelchair user these days, would like to apologise in advance, to anyone who might think that I'll spoil the aesthetics of THEIR lovely new single tier South Stand.

Really am sorry. ****'s :finger:

I can’t imagine that the wheelchair area would break up the stand at all when the stadium is full. It will be packed full of wheelchairs for one.

Going down their today I really noticed that the high rd felt a lot less shabby. The stadium really has given the whole high road a different feal. Also never realised that they’ve actual had to incorporate a listed building inbetween the shop and I think it’s the spurs experience/museum. But looks a bit odd. Also quite surprised that no food or coffee chains have had the foresight to open branches outside the stadium. I’d have thought costa or McDonalds would have been all over that. There’s a real lack of anywhere half decent to eat or get a coffee outside the stadium.

I think all the shops/flats opposite the west stand are going to be demolished in the near future. Not sure what is happening, but i think they've all been brought out and will be told to move on at some point.

Yeah did see plans that whole area down to station will be redeveloped. But no idea on time frame. Sure I saw on renders a cafe outside that accessible from outside stadium I think.

Regarding the wheelchair ledge can see from this the wall is about 6ft from guy standing by it assuming he is average height ? . So as said once wheelchairs are in place and standing carers you’ll barely notice it.

Nobody's said it's the fault of wheelchair users, nor said they don't have a place in the South Stand, heck people have explicitly said there should be wheelchair spaces in the stand. Literally the only thing questioned was whether having a huge row of them across the middle of the stand was the right way to do it and whether that might impact the 'wall' effect. No need to be getting sarcy and swearing at people who've gone out of their way to make their point politely.
