I won't get to the game on Sunday, so being at Wembley last night, for the last time, made me super excited for the new stadium in a way I haven't yet. Can not wait to be home.
Sounds like a long journey - did you get home?

Waiting for roofing cassettes to be dropped down for them to fix in place

I'm intrigued as to how they actually do that, assuming the cassettes sit snugly between the stanchions. In addition to the safety harnesses I'd need rubber underwear, or a colostomy bag!!!!:LOL:

I think they're actually waiting the the poly carb roof panels, they be fitting outside in at the moment

That classic photo of those guys just sitting having their lunch on a steel girder so high above NY! By all accounts they were all either Native Americans or Irsh.
My immediate thought too. I was going to post it but then thought it must be copyrighted.

The last but makes sense. I just can't get my head around how they go about securing them without clambering all over them. I've got this stupid mental image of those guys hanging upside down whilst trying to ratchet the fastenings down and dropping the bloody spanner!!!:LOL:

They use tool tethering so they can't drop their spanners! ? And they probably do stand on them to fix them!

Sorry for the question but haven’t followed the stadium development for some time. What is the latest news? Will it be ready for the first home game next season or?

Atm the word is it’s on schedule. Although we don’t know if that’s for the start of August

No offence taken. My father was born and raised in Ireland but came over to work on the docks during WW2 and stayed. He was called Paddy by his friends and colleagues, even though they knew his name was Michael. He was held in the highest regard and took no offence. The Irish have a great sense of humour and, like the British, have a great capacity to laugh at themselves. Evenhiapaddy! Brilliant! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
