That clause or something similar would have been there for years and will be in all other season tickets too, it covers stuff like the stadium being unavailable due to damage etc.Unfortunately I think they've covered this in the small print: "No guarantees can be given by the Club that the Match will take place at a particular time, location or on a particular date... The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel/accommodation costs." So they can probably just allocate ST holders an equivalent seat at Wembley without any reimbursement.
That rule does exist, but UEFA can and do waive it according to the circumstances. For instance, Celtic Park was out of action a couple of years back due to the Commonwealth Games, and Celtic were allowed to play their matches at Murrayfield and them move back home for the later games. The only restriction put in place was that they couldn't move the games outside of Scotland (they wanted to play one in Dublin and one in Manchester).
