Mr AV doing it in style again. He must shoot these early in the morning to get around the restrictions.

I was actually wondering about that when I was watching the video last night. As I know absolutely jack shit about drones or rules on using them. would he have to get special permission from the club / council / police etc, to be able to do his videos?

Is that a sponsor name spelled out in seats on the upper East?
GitTo? The GitTo Stadium? I could live with that.
Strange corner. Looks like they miscalculated lol (Yes I know it's deliberate)

Can't help but think that the roof has almost reached the point where we'll look at it and think we are finishing it off not just putting it on, not sure how long ago we started it but I'm sure it sat with a couple of sections done and very little else happening and then it started going in steadily so I think it is going in quicker than we'd think.
I can't find the film of it three weeks ago but I think it has moved on apace since then and so will be finished well in time.

@Woodyy I tend to not pay much attention to ratings, but I'm just curious as to how or why you disagree with a question

I think people need to realise, even once all the cassettes are on there needs to be single ply covering between each cassette, and a detail that goes over (or under depending if the design has changed) the cables between each row. Then a joint detail between cassettes and polycarb panels. So quite a lot of work to go even once the cassettes are on.

Must they wait until every single cassette is in and fitted before they can begin work on those aspects of the roof?

In all honesty, I don't know, when my company tendered and worked through the pcsa for the project I wasn't involved, everything Ive said to date has been after asking those who were! (I still blame the pre con manager who is a gooner for losing the job on purpose lol)

His videos seem to stay well away from the stadium footprint itself - so I son't know what regulations are in place for Drones in general, but I would not think he needs permission from the club - since he never seems to fly over club property.

Does anyone know if that pitch tray garage area will still be accessible from outside of the stadium after completion in case of future maintenance/modification/future proofing type stuff or will the end just be permanently sealed off?

Another revenue stream would be to have another set of trays to grow copious amounts of Ganja whilst the football pitch is outside, the hydroponics under there would surely be ideal, plus there're lots of lampposts nearby we could "borrow" electricity from

There's no doubt that the garage under the south stand will be accessible - It's probably much roomier than it looks, once you're past the lower part of the stand.

It truly is going to be absolutely fucking magnificent. I genuinely can't fathom how even the strongest of Levy haters can't at least acknowledge what the man has done for our club.

If I was Daniel Levy, for the first month after the build is completed, I'd be pitched up in a tent on top of the college with pile of coke, a couple of ounces of skunk, and my own private light show being displayed on the outside of the stadium, smugly whispering "I did this" after each toke.

Or like Charlie Croker in the Italian Job with a room full of girls......"everything"!

I kind of like south stand join is a bit messy makes it less of a uniform bowl. I’ve never been keen on the wave effect but understand why it necessary with sight lines. But still feel the west stand upper wave drop off where meets south is a bit unnecessary and could have been 1-2 k more seats.
