I don't think anything in my post was hyperbolic. I was just paraphrasing what someone else had said on another forum

Is there really that much difference between the words warning & notice, especially in the context I used it?
In the context of the worries currently being expressed in this thread that the ground may not be ready until after the previously expected return from the international break, clearly yes. You state "It looks more likely now". This is also in the context of the worries being expressed. If not, what is its relevance? The difference between "warning" and "notice" is that "warning" implies something negative will be in the e-mail, whereas "notice" does not. You are in my view, perhaps unintentionally, adding to the fuel of the fire of commenters' worries on this score.

Well breaking news we've asked to play at Wembley for first home game. Not sure whether that means first 3 away from home and then fourth game to be played at Wembley and then an away game and then finally stadium opening.

Would be very shit having to play a game at Wembley again. I wouldn’t be happy with that to tell you the truth. Would be an anti climax.

A major key in either decision is Arsenal and Met Police.
Whenever we play away, they play at home, so as much as we're asking to play away from home for the opening four games, that's effectively asking Arsenal to play their first four at home.

Surely Arsenal could just play Sunday if we play Saturday or vice versa?

They'll probably have a Thursday night Europa game so they'll need a Sunday game anyway.
Still think the Met would have the ultimate say in both of us playing at "home" on the same weekend.

Could it be just as much about how much overtime they need to try and cover in the one weekend to facilitate two North London games, where as one per weekend is easier to fill.

People need to take a step back. This was/is an enormous project with 1000s of potential hold ups. Imo it’s somewhat miraculous we’ve gone from a footprint to a virtually finished stadium in 2 years. The fact this may come in 2-4 weeks late is actually astonishing. It’s our magnificent home for the next 100 years. Sure we can all manage another 2 weeks.

so first home game could be around 29th August weekend

More likely after the first international break, so assuming we play first 3 away, we play 1 match at Wembley after the break (15-17th Sept) then you're looking at 22nd-24th Sept for the first match at NWHL

Wouldn't surprise me if our first CL match was away in that case, CL commences on the 18 and 19th September but then the 2nd set of matches are players on the 2nd/3rd October.
