Predicted months ago our first home game at NWHL would be against a team in top 5.
Shock horror it is.
Have we ever had any fkin luck with fixtures in our entire history?

Spurs have tweeted some more internal pics.
Not too keen on the yellow in the bogs...

Just waiting for Ryanair’s partner page on the stadium website to go live...

Keep looking at the photo of the loo...

Genuinely not a fan of the colour scheme we’ve gone for. I wonder if they’re all that way.

I like metro tiles but I’m perplexed at the decision to position them vertically.

Some AstroTurf pitches are laid pretty much onto tarmac. The “turf” is not that thick. It is the rubber pellets that are added afterwards that add the bounce and cushioning. As long as these are there in the areas which are removable (covering the rails) then there won’t be a noticeable difference in the pitch.

I cannot see how you could lift strips of fieldTurf, narrow or wide, thin or thick, without the infill going everywhere. It would be a major job to repair the pitch, replacing and recompacting the pellets/sand, every time 'our' pitch is rolled away.

I think what we see is what we'll get: a green carpet on top of a grey presumably elasticated underlay, but who knows. I'm sure it meets all the standards but is not top of the range.

Generally, I also don't know why experts and spammers want to shut down speculation and queries on how exactly the pitch will work. If it is a case of why can't we all shut-up and wait a few weeks until the season starts, then SC may as well shut down the ITK threads too.

Disappointing. I'm not sure on the logic of having a 'home' game in the first few fixtures, when it's not actually at 'home'. Surely better to actually have the real home game later on in the season with real opportunity for momentum in the 2nd half of the season.

Oh and them toilets are rank.

I don't actually mind the look of the toilets.

Although that's probably because I'm so colour blind I thought they were green.

You're not an interior designer are you?
