Are the black panels on the outside of the club shop screens for adverts or just cladding?
Some of the cladding has been put up it's brown. You can see it on chris's new video.

And just to add, now hearing that the south stand (Kop/Park Lane end) will be closed for the first test event. Not sure it’s been said anywhere on here but it’s being said on site that the first test event (Sunday 5th August) will be Woman’s football.

I think that was to be expected. Was the last stand to get going so probably still a lot to do internally. I mean the last back plate only went in about 3 months ago.
Very true.
I might take this opportunity to go into the north stand and sit behind one of the screens.
First test even would normally have a vastly reduced capacity anyway, so makes a lot of sense the South Stand won't be open. I'd actually be surprised if everywhere else was - that'd be a 44.5k capacity which seems a bit higher, although they might get away with 40k which would mean every ST holder who wants to go could.

If i understood correctly on SSC it's designed to oxidise (posh name for rust) a certain amount so that it goes that browny urban colour (IIRC it was to help it fit in with the surrounding area a sort of compromise between club and E.H.
(during the planning stages with english heritage or one of that lot)
Somebody will no doubt correct me i'm sure.
And for those who don’t know what that is, a prime example is outside the Broadgate entrance to Liverpool St stationSounds like they're talking about Cor-Ten steel.
Anyone in block 517 next season ??
Sounds like they're talking about Cor-Ten steel.
Everton fans VERY impressed with our stadium, and some lovely words about our fanbase, too. (Obviously read responses)
I predict "Good ground, shame the area’s a shithole and the ground filled with shit fans".We'll get a lot of these reports from other fans next season
