Looks like the sand layer is being put on by hand - I've not seen any machine, and I guess with the trays separated, they don't have an easy way to get a specialist bulldozer on the pitch area, and nor would they want to, until the trays are all locked together and sharing the loads.
Perhaps they could use horses - old tech meets new. That would help the grass grow ... And we if want the Queen to open the stadium then we'd have a much better chance if she had some horses to look at.

The white tubes is the undersoil heating I think. Im assuming they'd need to put it on by hand so they don't break any of the tubes.

Daniel Levy must be praying like mad that it is an England V France final.

Can you imagine the world wide publicity for Tottenham's Captain and vice captain leading the two teams out in the world cup final.

I couldn't even guess how much that would add to sponsorship monies and the exposure could make Spurs one of the world's most famous teams.

England Vs Belgium would be just as good 8 players in a World Cup final. Still find it weird Vertonghen isn’t Belgium captain.

Cock and ball on the park lane for me.
Have to admit, I rather liked the mock up done of the wall in white seats with the crest in blue in the centre. That would really have added to the effect of that stand being a focal point of the home support and fits in with the way that stand is physically less connected to all the others.

Yup, but once the stadium is full you cant see what colour the seats are really so anything like that will be lost and its up to the fans to create an identity for each stand (which i have no doubt we will)

Isn't the lack of design in the seat more to do with the nfl not wanting branding on view when they play?
