An FA official said: “Spurs have taken up the option to come to Wembley for a number of Premier League home games and the home games in the group stage of the Champions League.
“However, it is still their intention to play their home games at White Hart Lane after the Fulham game (at Wembley).”
OkJJ said it will definitely be ready for Liverpool, so that's enough for me.
Agreed, either way they have to tell us. The the longer they put it off, the worse the fall out will be. The radio silence on the issue will be deafening.I do think that with the failure to add to the squad and the lack of information about the stadium for a few weeks, now is the time to give us an update.
When will the 2 test events go on sale?
When will the Liverpool match go on sale?
HOW finished will it be on Sept 15th?
hertyid: Club still expects Liverpool game at WHL, just bought the option for Wembley to avoid any major issues including fines and points deductions down the road.
The best thing the Club could do now is put out a statement saying they still intend to have first home game on 15th but the Wembley option is a backup plan in case of any unexpected delays as the deadline so tight AND provide more details on the test event for the bank holiday, how the ballot will work, what the attendance will be etc which would ease peoples concerns a little.
A mate of mine works on the stadium and he told me on Saturday that he would be shocked if it was ready for Liverpool.
Nobody expects it to be completed. It probably wont be completed till next year. What we hope is that it will be ready to play a football game in for the liverpool game.
