Im actually not surprised, from people I knowing working on the ground, Liverpool was a really big push. I do expect however that the club will put off the first game until the 24th November. There is far too much to get done for the City game to be even considered. It was stupid of Levy to think he could have it completed by now to be fair, this is the UK, not Dubai we are in.

With Liverpool gone and it pretty likely City too that's two of the best games that won't be included in price. You can't charge a price for a product and then remove two key ingredients but continue wanting the same price.
They have to refund it and let fans decide if still want to see those games at inferior venue, anything less is an absolute disgrace.

It was such a pain in the arse for me to get to and from Wembley last season - I hated making that journey. I understood that it was necessary to have a season away at Wembley last season and I supported that, and went to every game that I could.

I won't be doing it again this season. I want my money back for the games that have been moved to Wembley.

Does this now mean we have to play all our CL games at Wembley as UEFA don't allow you to use 2 stadiums I think

It would have been a travesty to lose to liverpool in our very first game. Hopefully we will play someone weak so we can get off to a winning start.

Levy will make someone pay for this, (other than the fans) especially if it definitely means no CL games at the new stadium...

Delays in massive infrastructure projects are common and this has always been a tight schedule despite Alisdair Golds positive daily construction updates

This credit thing is absolute joke though

Think it’s a poor look for the NFL though given that was Levy’s other money spinner along side massive ticket hikes, a micro brewery and cheese tasting

Agree

This is a complex build and things go wrong. It happens.

Let’s support club on this one

I’m all for supporting them but you know what’s coming. Won’t be an offer of a full refund for any game missed, which is the minimum we should be offered.

As the City game can’t be moved to Wembley for that weekend (NFL taking place there) then if the new stadium isn’t ready for that the club are in serious trouble with the Premier League. I’d imagine we’re hoping the game can be switched to Manchester but that can then impact on Utd’s fixture as they can’t both play at home on the same day.

It’s not out of the question that we’re getting sanctions from the Premier League for this mess as we might not be able to fulfill that fixture for that weekend. As for what UEFA think about it all...

It’s a mess.
