People have paid thousands, have had 40% increases in the price of their season ticket and now 3/19 games are at a neutral ground with a further game in the balance. It also looks like we won't have Champions League football in our own stadium for the third year running.

Fans are perfectly entitled to be pissed off when the club have been quick enough to take our money off us, delayed refunding 'credit', delayed refunding new season ticket holders their membership fees and fans having to rely red top newspapers to hear the news. Everyone has been more than patient with this whole process and the whole communication from the club has been disgusting imo.

Customers is what we are, no matter how they might dress it up. Everything you mentioned here proves that.

To be fair no one would give a crap about the delay if the club was straight with the fans. It’s clear we didn’t make any signings because of the extra stadium cost, but Poch is being used as a mouth piece by Levy to placate the fans. Absolute joke of a summer.

Levy will make someone pay for this, (other than the fans) especially if it definitely means no CL games at the new stadium...

if this is the case then i dont know how daniel will sleep at night, would be the worst summer ever with no transfers and then this

Levy has only himself to blame, he should have been advised at to the operational nightmare a massive capital project like this will encounter, from various construction consultants that should have had his ear. When people try and fit in projects like this into time-scales they always fall to the way side.

He would have been updated daily on the progress of the project, there is no doubting that this is something that has hasnt came to light recently. Sparks on the site could have told you three weeks ago that there is no way it will be done to the time frame we were told.

On the OS it says the Man City game is TBC so that might not even take place at the new WHL.

Could happen. MACE have just purely now told the club that the stadium wont be operational until that point at the earliest. They might get back to the club and say yes that will be the date, but we could be going through this scenario again though.....

Desperately disappointing if not entirely surprising - you didn’t need to be an expert in construction to see the thing is a long way from being finished, even to a standard where it could host a match.

You do wonder if the club would have said anything today, had things not been leaked?

The fact the Man City game is TBC to me suggests there is a question mark over whether we’ll be allowed to use more than one stadium this season.
But we were already scheduled to use more than stadium, why would this change anything unless there was a maximum number of games at each venue

It's funny, I'd bet if Levy had spashed a hundred mil on transfers everyone would be taking this better, but as it stands it's horrible optics when added to the lack of transfer activity.

Bad 5 days for the bald one!

Think the contract renewals have been delayed due to bad weather. :cautious:

Unless Levy is always the photographer for the renewal photo's then there is no reason why there should be a delay.

And yes I know you were taking the piss.

What with the heavily away weighted fixture list, what is it 8 out of first 11 games away?..,then it suspiciously looks like the club were probably aware of this. Lot earlier than they let on. Pretty shoddy treatment of the fans...

A poster on COYS has been saying since June that it wouldn’t be ready until November (his info was posted after being ratified by mods on there).

Does anyone know what the Premier League rules are about changing stadium mid season? If it's not done by the City game we're a fair way into the season.
