The club are all take and no give with the fans at the moment.

Levy having a shocker lately.

Whoever they’re employing to do PR needs to be sacked off.
Levy wont be sacking his right hand woman and fellow director, Donna Cullen.

Speaking of which as I know she's on SC, Hi Donna!

Mace didn't put prices up 40%.

Mace didn't fail to find a naming rights partner.

Mace didn't sell season tickets to a ground before they were sure it'd be ready.

Mace didn't fail to tell anyone it wouldn't be ready until people had already made arrangements.

Mace didn't fail to sign a single player in the transfer window.

And in any case, Mace were hired by Daniel Levy. The buck stops with him. He has made a catalogue of errors this summer.

No one made anybody buy a ST.

We did because we are Spurs supporters and we take the rough with the smooth.
I’m as disappointed as anyone but I will be at Wembley cheering on my team, a team that will still be going when Levy is gone and playing at a stadium that Levy made possible.
It’s a tough crowd in here tonight?

Levy's statement said the problem was today. Not sure how fast you want the communication. He would have to confirm we could use wembley etc... before issuing a statement.
Lilbaz, he doesn’t mention today at all in the statement, it says recent tests etc, well the first test event was 9 days ago and the results wouldn’t have taken that long to be revealed....so this information has been sat on until leaked by the sun and tottenham’s rushed statement.

The club is a PR disaster at the moment, they aren’t covering themselves in glory at all.

First they fleece the fans on the ticket prices without the knowledge that the stadium will be ready. If there was any doubt with the readiness they shouldn’t have raped the fans on the prices. Who the fuck is advising that this is a good idea?

Now they push the stadium back and don’t mention a word about refunds.

Then they have the shittest transfer window without any acknowledgment to the failure to strengthen.

The club is all about money and greed at the moment and they should be careful as 62,000 seats is a lot to fill if the team isn’t doing well.
Not only that they let poch use brexit as an excuse when easily, they should have said that transfer fees were extortionate or nothing at all

Also the statement by Donna on the tottenham riots just did feel right either

Under promise, over deliver. I really like that the club is building a stadium that excels what others have, but Obviously the time frame has been too tight.

Doesn’t look good on Levy, and the communication is poor. Would it have been better to do the build over an extra season in hindsight? I’m sure there were financials and the like at play but seems a bit of a cock up all in all

Even that wouldn't have been necessary.

Freeze the prices for this season, even if you make it clear it's a one-off as a thank you to all the ST holders who followed us to Wembley and that 19-20 will see a new pricing model.

When it became apparent games may have to be moved (which would have been way before today), warn people against booking travel etc until further confirmation.

When games did have to be moved, offer people full refunds for those fixtures immediately.

When it results in a lack of investment, clearly explain this and promise investment in the first team squad once the move is completed.

It's not about things going wrong, that's understandable. It's about basic customer service.

Sorry, but we need to stop collectively seeing things that way. It's absolutely great when the relationship is team-supporter. But right now we see ourselves as supporters, and Levy sees us as customers whose bank accounts he wants to drain. He's mislead 42,000 Season Ticket Holders into making a huge purchase at an inflated cost. It's not right.

The club seems to be running like chickens with its head chopped off, atm. I wonder if a long time employee had been sacked or left recently that kept it all together because this summer has been a series of cluster fucks of the clubs own doing and its not normally like that at all, to be honest.

I usually read every page on this, but just like the transfer window, every time I was busy or taking a power nap I miss everything.

how people are blaming the club for this is unbelievable, blame Mace. they are the ones that haven't done the work correctly not Levy. if there has been major issues and worry about the stadium then the only thing Levy should of done is try and find someone else to try and buy the players, but the teams they played for still might of not sold to us.

if the club had known back in April/May that there would be safety issues then they could of set the prices for the New Stadium accordingly, but they didn't. if the safety issues hadn't happened and they had been 3 weeks a head of schedule then we would of played Fulham. shit happens but on the stadium everyone needs to blame Mace not the club.

I’m not blaming the club for this particular problem. Everyone knows that even minor development projects hit bumps that cause delays, let alone projects on this scale.

What i’m Pissed with the club about is that they charged us sky high ST prices for the privilege of watching spurs in a state of the art modern stadium at WHL, even though they would have known that there was a possibility that the stadium would’nt be ready on time.

With the possibility that the stadium would’nt be ready on time for the beginning of this season, they should have gone easy on ST prices while informing us that this is because we may need to play x amount of games at Wembley incase the stadium falls behind schedule.

We appreciate the support our partner the NFL has shown since the extent of this issue became evident today.

Especially as the club knew the ground wouldn’t be ready for months and sat on this info whilst tickets were sold and eventually get forced to come out with a statement

Sorry but this isn't Levys house mate, it's Tottenham Hotspur's football ground and season he's dealing with. He needs to offer reduced prices for the games that need to be played at Wembley and to reimburse fans that have focused a lot of their money and attention on the date he said was guaranteed to be the opening game for the next stage of our era.

I'm a pro Levy person but he's really messed this summer up on so many levels. He simply needs to make amends now instead of asking Pochettino to tell the fans to please stay on side etc. Money where yur mouth is Levy, reimburse and reduce Wembley prices to show you aren't taking the supporters loyalty for granted. Time to give us a little back

I agree with you totally, I typed that up when it wasnt confirmed (based on the Suns reports).

I do want to be reimbursed ofcourse as we all do. The point I was ultimately trying to make is that we should have from the outset said January we will move back in rather than what feels like a rush job. It is clear loads of aspects of the build is moving forward but appears that no matter how much is being doen there is still so much to do. The root cause really is by setting such an ambitious date of 15th September even a month ago where the stadium, to all intents and purposes, wasnt going to be ready and very near to completion.

I highly doubt Levy wanted the stadium to be part completed with the cameras on it, so should have been set as December/January.

Well, statement doesnt say today. If anything could have gone wrong, it would have been known during first test event 10 days back. I am sure, club should have known these 'safety' issues latest 10 days back. Since then, some ST members even got Gold membership invite. I am not a ST holder but I can certainly understand some of the people's anger.

Even today, when we went to FA with the payment, we could have easily released a short statement. At the moment, club mgmt has egg on their face after the news leak, which was always going to happen within FA

The challenge was probably two-fold: 1st being it was probably easier to go to the FA and ask for a game or two at Wembley, than it would have been to ask for half-a-season. FA would probably have pushed back and made Spurs use 1 pitch for the season.

2nd was the NFL - that was a pretty big commitment - and I am sure Levy wanted to show that he/ENIC were up to the task of staging an NFL game.

I really doubt that Levy would have worried about a few cosmetic issues with the outside of the stadium - how many cameras do you see during the match, focused on the outside of the stadium?

I know the company that has been given the contract for the Car park beneath the stadium and they have been delayed in starting for a second time (first told to start in June and then August) and have not been given a date when they can begin work yet But i imagine that is one of the non essential things that will be done.

It's quite a secure car park as you'd imagine being under a place that holds major sporting events.
