With the holidays still on, DL should do adults a tenner and kids for a quid.....That'd guarantee a good turnout. But then everyone who paid full price would get their knickers in a twist no doubt.

I wonder what Brady and the dildo twins are preparing.....

Shocked by this tbh. And there's no real incentive to finish it quickly now that there's not gonna be an NFL game.

Doubt there will be a toxic atmosphere at Wembley will do the team no good at all.
Wembley holds no fears for us any more. R Madrid, Dortmund, Liverpool , Man Utd and The Woolwich all beaten comprehensively .
Yes communication has been poor but the schedule was always challenging, many building projects have gone over time and budget so nothing new.
Now is the time to show more support for the club and turn up in numbers at Wembley, don't do a Woolwich and turn the atmosphere septic like The Emptirates last season.

The crowd for Fulham was always going to be below average it's August , fans on holiday , should be round about 50000.
Fear has nothing to do with it. It's the emotional state of the fans that concerns me and how that could have an effect. I don't think I'm over-reacting here, people are seriously pissed at the way they've been treated, and the way that Levy and co have handled things. I hope it doesn't have a negative effect, but I think it's a genuine concern right now.

There is a lot more to Wembley, than just turning up. It's a public transport stadium, which comes at an additional cost. As difficult as The Lane is to get to on PT, Wembley is probably a bit more difficult.

People, whilst understanding that a project this size has delays, will feel let down by the club. Money upfront before the last season was even finished, very little room for manoeuvre with the whole ST purchase process, with families being concerned about being split up etc.

The announcement yesterday seemed rushed and lacked a lot of crucial information, and also lacked any sign of an apology.

The atmosphere at Wembley was poor last season and people couldn't wait to see the back of it.

Just curious as to how they would have done tickets?

If they didn't do season tickets until the stadium was ready, many would moan about the short time between getting them and the first game.

Also the sale of season tickets generate alot of cash up front for the club to be used for wages. I know it's shit that it's delayed but still think the club had to do it that way.

We should have planned to be at Wembley for 2 seasons and the club would have been able to sell season tickets this season and next with full certainty of where we would be playing and pricing accordingly

Clever move from DL, as per usual. He knows Wembley is now like a home stadium for us, so he is giving us the chance to rack up some big points there before our homecoming.

Also, the extra ticket sales at Wembley (you pays your money you makes your choice, even if badly informed by the club) will go straight into our January pot for Poch to invest in the squad (not that he'll need to, see above point).

And I, for one, am looking forward to that Eriksen money we'll get in the next couple of weeks going towards resurfacing our world class NFL pitch.

Come on guys the stadium is going to be well worth the wait. Besides at least we got some good news, Sissoko isn't suspended.

I knooooow that WHL is our home and I for one cannot wait to get back but I don't understand the vitriol against Wembley. I think its a tad blown out of proportion the hatred for Wembley. Maybe I'm in the minority.

I think the transport links are good and there is plenty of food and drink options around the stadium etc I agree the atmosphere isn't that great but I thought it was great against the Real Madrids, Liverscums, Juventus', Arsenals and Manures of this world

I want to go back to WHL and I do have an ST there which was an extortionate amount of money but as long as I get a refund then the whole Wembley thing for another month or two isn't that significant an issue.

Optimistic rating isn't enough for this.

If I receive a free ticket and my actual hard cash back I'd be more inclined to go

That's great and in many ways I think it is the right thing to do. I just get the feeling that when something is 'free' people are more likely to skip it than if they have actually bought the ticket for that specific game. Having said that I think most people will turn out for the Liverpool match at Wembley and the atmosphere there will be very good. Not so sure about the Cardiff match though.

And if the stadium is finished in a month or two and ready, fans would moan why are we still at Wembley if the stadium is ready.

Once it is ready we should move in to play in it, not wait IMO.

You wouldn't want to be at Wembley a whole season of the new gaff is finished by December.

It might not be finished in December?? And if we had a longer period to do it the schedules would had been different with less labour, panic and mistakes

Only just spotted this.

There's not a chance they've only just realised that the work they thought would be done in 2 weeks is actually going to take four times longer than that as a minimum.

Really feel for you guys with STs. Those of us who live hours away and only make it to a few games a season are already reluctant to travel down for games like the Fulham fixture thanks to the absurd prices and the apparent lack of squad investment. This sort of fuckery makes the whole thing more toxic.

They are well and truly ripping the complete fucking piss.

Dec 5th v Soton would be by guess.

Why would we pay overtime to rush it now that we have paid the FA for Wembley and the NFL game has gone.

That's the earliest imo, it could even be Jan 2019.

I do agree it has been handled very poorly but how do make a protest against the management and not Poch and the team.

Regards Wembley does depend on where you are travelling from for many it's easier to get to for others harder.
Yes the atmosphere is poor but it is something we have to live with for the time being and make the best off.

Absolutely gutted. As I suspect is the case for a good many, I'd determinedly kept 15 Sep clear of work. Gigging in Montpellier the weekend of the Man City game, landing at Gatwick at 5pm, an hour after kick-off. Total bullshit. Considering the scale of the delay, it's unfathomable that this reality only made itself apparent yesterday. Totally mishandled.
