Well the latest statement on the os is much better and explanatory probably more what they would have put out originally had the story not broken.

I meant to delete your quote and not post it but I was referring to your absurd conspiracy theories

Don't bother replying, I honestly don't care.
You really think this is just coming up now? There's been alot of smoke for quite some time about delays. A ton. Where there is smoke, there is normally fire. And in this case, there absolutely was fire.

All you who think this was secretly Levy's plan all along to have 2 seasons away and deceive us into buying season tickets at NWHL need professional help.

I'm done. You're all too fucking much.
No I don't think Levy would willingly do this. No-one is that cynical.

Levy had to play this charade out, because he wants us to be playing in the new stadium a soon as it is ready. If he had been upfront and said it would be ready by December/January, the other clubs - certainly our top 6 rivals - would have demanded we play at Wembley for the whole season.

The zero transfers was part of the game, as was DC and MP using the wrong figures for the stadium costs. Levy is pleading poverty to the premiership, despite a second season at Wembley always being a possibility.
Now he is claiming it is an act of god why the games can't be played - just as if a stadium had a fire or flooding. I'm sure there are genuinely serious problems with the safety equipment... in that some of it is in a box in the carpark awaiting to be installed.

Levy hasn't apologised as he's as pissed off with the situation as any one.

So any idea when the first game at the new ground is gonna be?

chelski?

My guess would be not before December or January. They just cannot take the risk of stating a new opening date before they have actually got the safety certificates in their hands.

Can you imagine the meltdown if they had to move another game to Wembley after having stated it would be the first game in our new stadium?

If we aren’t in by new year I can see other clubs insisting we have to play whole season at Wembley. Once relegation and the title race starts to take shape. Other clubs will start claiming it’s not a level playing field literally ?. XYZ played them at virtually a neutral venue but we have to play them at their new fortress. And tbh they’d have every right to kick off. If the shoe was on the other foot I wouldn’t be best pleased.

I was having a conversation today with a dad at my sons football team, he works at the factory that makes the goal posts which is near where I live, and he was saying that the NFL goals were also returned recently as the paint wasn’t allowed to dry properly and when they went to install them at the lane the protective paper wrapping just stuck to the posts, the same with the ground fittings. They are now being made again from scratch, not the clubs fault but just another thing rushed by the sound of it and now delaying our homecoming.

I feel for the fans who have spent a lot of money to see the Liverpool game thinking it would be the first game at the new ground but in the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal.
I’ve worked at the stadium on and off for 8 months and when it’s done it’s going to be amazing. Just try to be a little patient it’s going to be worth the wait

Will the new stadium be a fortress from the get-go though? I doubt it. It'll take us a few weeks/ months to get used to it.

Well, that's one way to prove your insecurity to everyone in the league.

Some things you are allowed to think but not say, as you will have to pay with your manhood.

I'm not saying you're wrong with going past new year we would have to stay at Wembley, but I doubt any of the clubs would say something like that as it'd be incredibly sad and funny in the wrong way. At the end of the day all you have to do is play better football than the other team and that's what the sport is about, not where the pitch is located. Let's hope they are better than the kid who whenever another class could go home early had waste everyone's time by arguing with the teacher about how it isn't fair.

The argument would seem even pettier if we in turn point out that we're the only team who hasn't been allowed to play at home once in two seasons.
