Is it right that if one CL game is played at Wembley then the remaining CL home games have to be played there?

It's down to UEFA's discretion. Covering the whole of Europe they do have to adapt to circumstances more often what with teams occasionally playing in warzones or whatever so there isn't a hard and fast rule. One possibility is that all our home group games will be schedules for Wembley but we'd be able to play at NWHL for the CL/EL knockouts if we make it there.

Of course you are assuming NWHL will be finished by February , way things are going that might be optimistic

Full completion after Christmas wouldn't be too bad. Atletico's new stadium was finished until at leats 8 months after the first game, I remember going to the New Wembley for an U21 international with Italy and it wasn't finished (but you couldn't tell until later events when new entrances, facilities, areas and services were opened up)

I went to the stadium today for the first time en route to North Mid.

Firstly it is unreal and the south stand is sensational it truly is remarkable. It was very strange to even think that the old stadium was there, feels like forever now

It does have a January opening written all over it but that's my layman's view. Not as many workmen as I was expecting but could be because a) its a Saturday and/or b) the majority are inside.

Realistically I think they'd probably want it open, or at least have a test event done, by the time the draw is made in December to commit to scheduling it there.

The completion part doesn't really mean much, we knew there would be finishing touches after the stadium opened and we played in an incomplete stadium in our last season at the Lane.

The rest is worrying if true. How can the boxes flood?

Although the alarms didn't work, the sprinklers did!(y)

I don't think the Exterior is that too far of completion, from all the noise over the last week is that the outside is there or there about. I would like to think that they decided with the extra month, they don't need exterior workers working overtime and that it can be completed in normal working hours. I would imagine all the overtime as now gone towards getting electricians in to resolve the fire systems and other outstanding details.

Perhaps that me being optimistic though.

I think over the next two weeks a lot of the veil will go up.

If we play the first game at Wembley, we would have to play the rest of the group home games there.
After that we should be able to move the home games to the Tottenham Stadium

I may well be pessimistic... We do have a couple of months so perhaps but its not necessarily just the stadium but the areas around it. I am a layman though when it comes to this stuff

The stadium is a bit like Kelly Brook, looks great and curves in all the right places and I just cannot wait to get inside

I don't think she's selling tickets or advertising on the tube though. Imagine the queues...

I sincerely hope for all concerned that it's going to be ready soon but whatever the problem is the Man C looks very doubtful.

Mail on Sunday is going big on the stadium issues tomorrow

Fuck sake, now my Nan’s gonna go IN on Levy.

“ I can’t stand that Levy,” she’ll say, “always messin’ around with you fans”.

Not that she knows about football at all. But then again, isn’t the case for the Mail sport journalist pool as well.
