Having said this on here before I would like to know as previously there was no feedback
What I would like to know is does anybody here feel the same as me that all the seating being finished also the roof being finished would give a feel good mood about the stadium and it would not look far off finished totally although we have no idea of the insides of the build

the thing that gets me is they are saying its the wiring that is the problem.... well we were meant to have a test event on monday and the pitch is still not laid, if the wiring was the only problem surely the pitch would of been in

Agreed, they may have cut back on the work since the announcement but there are so many areas that look to be behind schedule. If they could finish the roof panels it would look closer to being finished. Also whatever others say I can't believe there would be test events with neither directors box or press box finished.

i wouldn't know where to start with anything on a construction site but to me it just seems that by saying its the safety that is the issue is the easiest option for the club and Mace to announce

Laying the pitch, marking it and sticking up a couple of goals would be music to all Spurs supporters ears

That would signal how close we were and would definitely give us all a spring in our steps!

Why bother when the place is still a building site full of dust?

Why would the club pay people overtime or have as many on site as they had if the opening has been put back? Obviously all other areas of the build are going to slow down now there isn't a deadline. It makes business sense to.

I do wonder about some fans & people. I really do

I'm not even convinced we're building a stadium. It's all a smokescreen for a the club moving to America and joining the MLS.

I know it's all about getting bums on seats and revenue coming in, but I wish for the stadium to look absolutely amazing for our first game.

Not 2/3 finished but able to play football, that'd still look shite IMO.

It wouldn't really feel like a grand opening and less so once bits are finished in dribs and drabs.

I was hoping for the Sky cameras and World's media to spend the whole day at the stadium on date of our first match, or the day before.

Drooling over the beauty of the venue, whisking cameras off here and there to bring ' you the viewer ' wonderful shots of splendour from all areas within the stadium.

Just seems a bit shambolic .

I want fanfares, bunting, dancing girls. I want a grand opening of the highest order.

Last game at the lane, the goodbye. That was pure class. Let's get this opening spot on also.

At this rate it will be a fitting entrance into the new ground. The last game at WHL saw our fans taking their seats home with them. When the THS opens the fans will have to bring the seats back in with them.

Just tells me how gullible and clueless people are in that case.

I heard somewhere that the final roof panel means paying rates, so perhaps that's the last job to be done before they open:whistle:

the turf has been at the training ground for sometime so that would of gone in this week I believe if Liverpool was still the 1st match.

I just hope that the wiring problem doesn't effect all fire systems @dondo?

I'd expect the overtime is mainly on the electrical side, they will need all hands on deck to remove and replace the problems

think Levy would of preferred that too. I don't know how much effect it had but the winter just gone is the worst I can remember, and must of had a big impact (ok might not on the wiring), but definitely on the main. even the new club shop was meant to open in July and that's not even done yet
