Just spoke to a mate of mine who is a sparks. I jokingly asked him why he wasnt at the stadium earing a fortune. He said he was told it is absolute chaos down there. too many people on site as others have said He also said another sparks he knew had been working there and hadnt been paid so went round cutting all his wiring work out. Which if its true is a scandal. I know Spurs wont pay directly and i didnt probe any further as to who he was working for. But if someone has come in and undone all their work for not being paid. someone needs firing.

It is chaos down there, it why I’ve left twice.
The money per hour that is usually quoted is the Sunday overtime rates and are not paid throughout the week so the electricians are not on as much as you think.
Never heard of anyone not getting paid while I was there tbh

Surely if they did that then it would be criminal damage?

Our ground CAN be the best for atmosphere, if we make it so. Big not always best, e.g. Emirates 60,000 every week (LMFAO) and its a poor atmosphere at times unless we are there or it's a big game. I've been to Anfield to watch us quite a lot and generally thought the atmosphere was bang average ("Where's yer famous atmosphere?" always a fave chant!). However, some of my work mates have season tickets in the Kop and they took me to the Man City CL QF, the difference was stark. It was probably the best non-Spurs atmosphere I've ever experienced.
We will undoubtedly have THE BEST ground in the country, but WE have to make the best atmosphere in the country.

If the club hadn't chosen Prawn sandwiches in the heart of that new South stand and given it to some kind of cult following like away season ticket holders etc it would have taken a big step towards us doing so

Agree, even though I won’t be in that stand. Can’t imagine giving over two blocks to the prawn sandwich brigade in the East Lower will help either ( yeah I’m still pissed about my old seat :D).

The worst part is that going by how long it took them to sell, after weeks of cold calling etc, the South Stand clearly wasn't where the prawn sandwiches wanted to be anyway!

If they sold that section out, it's a huge success. Who cares how long it took?

I mean I've dipped in and out of the thread and like I've said I've met a bloke whos a sparky on the site i wouldn't call him a mate cos I ain't known him long so every post I've made I've always said pinch of salt blah blah but tbh he's a sound bloke and yeah look through my posts don't think I've been wrong on anything .
So he has reiterated the leaky roof story when it was raining last week said it was pissing through into the boxes.
I'd still caveat pinch if salt and that
The good news is he says when finished it will be the bollocks
