If they sold that section out, it's a huge success. Who cares how long it took?

Exactly, if they sold the last remaining seat on first match day that would mean they have judged supply and demand to absolute perfection. It would be any sales team's dream. If it had sold out in the first week then they've had grossly underestimated demand and sold the seats too cheap.

Agree, I also think its probably a design problem. Although additional detectors or additions again will not require a complete rewire. Do you even know the cable is in conduit? As you said it doesn't need to be. Be very interested to know what the actual issue is. Whatever it is I cannot concieve of a situation where a complete rewire from scratch would be required unless they used the wrong cable ie 2 core not 3 core or whatever. And didnt someone say it was tested months ago?
Breaking the system down into segments to test and find faults is nowhere near as time consuming as a complete rewire. There will be way more not faulty areas than faulty unless as I said Mickey Mouse put it in.
Anyone heard what the actual issue is?
Squirrel munch through cable lol?
Really love to know whats happened.
I'd hazard a guess that whoever wired it didn't know what they were doing, & connected the FP earth's to the building earth points at various points, which can cause induced currents on the FP, which causes all kind of faults, tracing & removing them would take a considerable amount of time. Though that's only my best guess at what it is. If the culprits are on here, please only connect one leg of the earth in the panel please!

I guess waters getting in is the jist of it I didn't question him to hard and i think that was reported last week so just reiterating that. As for a box(es) being flooded I dunno what he meant by that could be a mistake didn't question it too much I'm not that aware of the whole lay out of the stadium so just presumed there's boxes near the top I dunno?
Like I said he ain't the type to make stuff up and I pass it on in good faith I guess, nothing earth shattering obviously and maybe that sort of thing ain't unusual on a building site that's not ffinished

Hi everyone, I am one who doesnt post a lot but received this whats app message today and videos from my mate who is working at the ground. He is doing a specialist job there which includes all the changing rooms, medical rooms etc. He says he has at least 3 months work for himself.

This is what he sent

Working back at spurs to. Been told no games to be played here this season.
( unofficially) but they have stopped all weekend work and night work. ?

Just hope he is wrong. He says nearly all the public areas are done, kiosks, dining, bars etc but in his words its the guts of the stadium that need finishing.

Can anyone else comment if night and weekend work has stopped?

Thanks for passing on, I'm sure there's many who are going to call bollocks and get defensive but I appreciate you're only passing on what you've been told so thank you.

I personally think we'll be in for the new year but if it means turning up with a 100% completed stadium next season I could deal with that, it would be an absolute cluster fuck in terms of what they do for season ticket holders like myself though.

Although saying that, in terms of on the pitch Poch must surely be thinking there comes a stage where it will be disruptive to move if we continue our good form at Wembley and thinks it might be better to stay put until next season?

Could that timescale be for both football & NFL facilities? (they are totally separate areas)

His element is 3 months and yes as many people said the stadium doesnt need to be finished to be used so the unimportant parts can wait. He has sent me two vids and I am no expert but looks like a shit load to be done. And @NickHSpurs yes it could be bollocks but as he said unofficially no games. So he is in essence passing on what hes hearing and hes there

The worst part is that going by how long it took them to sell, after weeks of cold calling etc, the South Stand clearly wasn't where the prawn sandwiches wanted to be anyway!

I really don't expect the 1882 section in the south stand will make much of a difference. if 15k fans can't do enough then pointless having the kop

I was thinking possible inducted interference but thought where from.
Parallel earths causes that yeah?
I've never actually installed a fire alarm system but worked on a few. I'm a refrigeration engineer first and foremost but got C&G electrical 1&2, C course and 2391 plus after 30years I have a fairly good understanding lol.
Get that earthing the shielding at both ends issue in my trade every now and then, on AC mostly.
