Watching this Ajax timelapse at 1/4 speed, the roll sizes actually could prove this is really grass at last.
Surpises me as you'd think the grass would only go in a few weeks at most before being needed.

If you say the average ticket price is £50 for the liverpool game (which is a guess) then 85,000 £50 tickets is £4.25m

Hopefully the rent includes all facilities so the leftovers go straight to the club.

If you think levy is paying £3m a game ? we paid £20m for all of last season. Times actually said in 2015 that we were paying £15m. So last season was somewhere around £15-20m. Sure I heard NFL pay £500k. So it’s nowhere near £2-3m.

Maybe because we rented it for the whole season so it was known the stadium would be in use for those 19 games, whereas this year we seem to be unsure whether we'll need it or not. Therefore Wembley can arrange other games, to use the stadium (American Football game on 28th) this season, to add to their coffers and we have to fit in around them. So we may be competing with others for the use of the stadium and constituting in a higher cost to bear.

Seeing that the FA regularly use the facilities at Hotspur Way for the England Squad, I can't imagine them being unreasonable with Daniel Levy about Wembley.

And I can't see Daniel Levy accepting a deal that did not minimise our own losses.
